So there's plenty of stuff I've noticed I'd like to have from FW after placing my Adepticon pre-order.

So how much stuff does Forgeworld typically bring to Adepticon? Is it limited to what people have preordered or do they have a larger array of stuff? How likely would it be to pick up any random model you may want?

In my experience with FW on various cons they usually have a pretty decent amount of stuff, if you didnt preorder from them and are hoping to get something that isnt very popular they might not have a ton of them on hand. They as you might expect bring a boat load of the stuff they actually sell and generally only a handful of the less popular stuff. If there is specific stuff you know for 100% sure that you will buy it doesnt hurt to email them to preorder it

Too late to preorder anything.

The good news, however, is that you can order literally whatever you want from them at Adepticon and if they dont have it they'll ship it to you for free...

They usually have a literal wall of boxes behind their booth, last year it was about 6ft tall and a good 30ft long so it's a ton of stuff. Most of the choice stuff or new items tend to sell out Thursday morning and there's a massive line as people line up 5-6 hour in advance (or more)

If they run out of stuff you can order and pay for it there and they ship it for free.

I appreciate the responses guys! I'll probably just see what they've got and if it's stuff I want I'll buy it! Hopefully they'll still have stuff Thursday evening when I finally get there.

This is the key - then you don't worry about it getting broken in your overstuffed luggage on the way home

They will have plenty of stuff there still. Really it depends on what you are looking for. Unfortunately the time to pre-order stuff specifically for Adepticon has already passed.

Vendor hall doesn't open until friday. I am looking for a horus on Thursday during the VIG open time.

Honestly, if you're not a VIG, I wouldn't waste your time with the line unless you're really that impatient.

I learned that after waiting in line for 3 hours the first time. Now, I just saunter in sometime Saturday or Sunday and order what I want.

Yeah popping over on Sunday and seeing if they have something of interest is always a good plan. I have stuff from 2 years ago that hasn't been taken out of the forgeworld bag. :(

This year will be hard to pass up angron and abaddon and Horus or a storm eagle. The joys of getting a profit sharing check on Friday.
