For International Tabletop Day, which I didn't know was a thing, Amazon is having a sale on a bunch of board games, including Zombicide.

Bah humbug, seems that only .com gets it, so much for the 'international' part

TN/AL/MS state line.

There's a few good games in there- Forbidden Island is great fun with kids. Munchkin is a classic tabletop game. Dominion is a fun deckbuilder.

Black Bases and Grey Plastic Forever:My quaint little hobby blog.

40k- The Kumunga Swarm (more)
Count Mortimer’s Private Security Force/Excavation Team (building)
Kabal of the Grieving Widow (less)

Plus other games- miniature and cardboard both.

Ticket to Ride is good.

Dixit is brilliant.

Diplomacy is of course a classic, though personally I dislike it.

The Dominion Bundle looks excellent value if you like deck building games.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Diplomacy: Ruining Friendships Since 1959

Kirasu: Have we fallen so far that we are excited that GW is giving us the opportunity to spend 58$ for JUST the rules? Surprised it's not "Dataslate: Assault Phase"

AlexHolker: "The power loader is a forklift. The public doesn't complain about a forklift not having frontal armour protecting the crew compartment because the only enemy it is designed to face is the OHSA violation."

AlexHolker: "Allow me to put it this way: Paramount is Skynet, reboots are termination attempts, and your childhood is John Connor."

7 Wonders is AWESOME! It's like Civilisation: Euro-style with deck builder elements. Fairly simple rules that offer a lot of open choices for what to do in a way that makes it all about your own decisions and strategy, not about luck or semantics in how rules are worded. A friend bought it a year or so ago and we play it nearly every time he's in town. Worth the retail price, but for $28 I'll now have a copy of my own. Fast game with excellent art and components, big thick cards, thick cardboard tiles.

Forbidden Island is also a good, simple and cheap game. It's a co-op game where you adventure around an island trying to uncover treasure and escape before the island sinks, also a bit of a euro-style game with relatively simple mechanics and tough choices. It's also HARD (like many co-op games) but has different starting points that adjust the difficulty. For $10 I recommend not passing on it, great filler game or as something fun and relatively simple to play with non-gamers.

Yeah. Disappointed that .ca isn't included. Oh well, I can support my LGS at 20% off instead.

Anyone recommend Relic? I have seen it for sale at a vendor's booth here at Adepticon. Wonder if it is worth taking the plunge one.

Relic is awesome, Filbert, if you enjoy the mechanics of Talisman. The exploding 6's give you a chance to always beat any monster, and with different stat-based decks of enemies, you can largely fight to your benefit. It definitely fixes the issues that Talisman has. And the expansion is coming out soon. Again, if you like the core concept of Talisman, buy it.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Due to work, I can usually only ship any sales or trades out on Saturday morning. Please trade/purchase with this in mind.

It's pretty boring and the basic version has virtually no player interaction. I can't recommend it.
