Hey - I posted a list a while ago. It changed a bit. It now looks like this -

1 Flyrant Double Devs + BLW 230pt

1 Naked Tyrant 165pt

2x Naked Fex 240pt

1x Dakka Fex 150pt

53 Hormagribbly - 215pt (like probably less with some devs in here)

So yeah - big ball of death - based on principle of simultaneous attack. Something reminiscent of 4th ed.

Painted the fexes with patina skin and given them moo cow (friesian) carapaces - tyrants have trygon bodies (because of reasons).

Will this actually work at 'chill' club level? (marine heavy)

Sure, you're a little light on Synapse, but you have a walking Tyrant to babysit the back field, you can't really "sit" on victory points though (Feed!) But 5 Big Bugs is a powerful force....

Cheers - you know I've been wondering about how strategy can flex with so lil synapse.

It basically means the list becomes a right hook - strong hit, but then the arm is fully extended.

There is element of 'oh i can just fleet back to objectives with the lil gribblies' so there is an element of flexibility if i cant kill everything.

Its almost like an american football team with massive carnifex/tyrant blockers and quick little gribbly scoreres.

I'll report back as to whether this actually works - maybe even with some battle reports depending on how it goes.

I note Dakka wont let me use swear words - I understand that young people use the site on occasion, but as a lad this was no worse than what i would hear in store (I dont know, employees have become a lot more 'clean' recently and thats great - its just, i dont know, I miss the old days when it was more sought of fun). Im not going to fight Dakka though, I understand its reasons.
