pretty straight forward list.... wanted to get away from all the flyers a bit as I think 2 in this edition should suffice. Plenty of templates Gargoyles w venomthrope buff hopefully provide a solid screen for rest of army. also nets me 11 warp charge i believe when i originally wrote list tervigon and tyrants also have belly weapons. undecided as to which i wanna use

Looks pretty good! One minor thing, the Living Artillery gic=ves pinning to Blasts, so you should run a Venom Cannon out of it. Pretty minor, but it at least lets you use the special rule on two units.

I always prefer to double out Broods of 'Thropes, so I reccomend that, but your local "meta" determines whether that is good advice or not.

If you get a chance let us know how it works. I'm pretty curious how 7th will change how Nids play.

you arent really bringing enough troops to benefit from objective secured so id say go unbound and split your gaunts and goyles into 10 man units. that way they can screen for each other, overkill will frustrate your opponent to no end, and youll have far far more units on the table for him to have to choose from. it will also be far less painful when you fail an instinctive behavior test. only 10 max are useless as opposed to a whole 30 nid squad. tactically speaking, 3x10 gaunts and goyles usually far more useful than 1x30. the only time when 30 are really better is when you take a charge.

if you are taking a tervigon, i always go with crushing claws now. smash wont do anything but armorbane and +2 str will. or drop him for a more useful MC. dont get me wrong, i love tervigon, but i find t-fex, mawloc, exocrine, zoanthrope, or even a pair of crushing claws tyrant guard to be more useful.
