How are summoned/spawned units treated regarding detachments?
summoned/spawned units MUST follow detachment rules, gaining the benifits and conforming to the restrictions
summoned/spawned units ignore detachment rules, ignoring the requirments and benifits.
I get to pick and choose to apply the benificial detachment rules, and ignore the detrimental rules
I get to ignore the benifits, but must follow the restrictions for detachment rules.

Do summoned daemons cause "one eye open" if summoned by a faction that would be considered "desperate allies" or "come the apocalypse"?

Even if summons are not technically in a detachment would this rule still apply because they belong to a different faction?

I won't vote in your poll because (while it is not the option I would chose) one of your options is worded in such a way as to be insulting to those who agree with it. That isn't a poll, that's "do you agree that everyone who doesn't agree with me is dumb?"
