Would Dedicated Transports for Stern Guard in a detachment with Kantor have Objective secured?

Wow! Good question. I would say no, seeing as the FAQ only addresses changes to the unit, not its dedicated transport. However, you will have to houserule it one way or the other.

Objective Secured does apply to DTs if it's a Troop + transport in a Battleforged army. Does Kantor make the Sternguard Troops or just give them OS? If the first it would be yes without question, the second "maybe".

The second. I'd say their Drop Pod doesn't get OS as well, since it's a rule only shared with a Troops' DT - something Sternguard's Drop Pod isn't.
It's still scoring, however

Isn't the fact a transport itself is a Troops unit what gives it Objective Secured in a BF Detachment?
If so, I would say no just carrying Objective Secured contents is not enough to confer it to the transport.
