Changed it to play the "avatar in a room" game. I was originally a walrus cat that couldn't do a whole lot except for belch deafening metal music, roll into people, and be used by khornate fire warrior as a club. so I switched to something more combat oriented. It was going to be my daemon prince model but I thought I'd come across as a show-off if I did that. I decided to go with SHODAN because evil narcissistic god complex-filled AI ftw.

Easy. The Joker picture I used on other forums didn't fit the size requirements at the time.
I had the Meghan Fox FHM picture downloaded to use as an Album Cover in iTunes, so I used it.
I've switched to my real face on PP forums and thought about going to something else here, but folks seem to enjoy it. And I think I'd miss her if she was gone.

I didn't have one for ages, but used a pic of a rather spry Guniea Pig that seems to be asking "WHAT YOU LOOKIN AT!?
I have guinea pigs, they are similar in attitude.
Other forums I use a cartoonish version of JAZZ the autobot 
Cant use my own selfie as the world isn't ready to see my boat race on a daily post basis.

I started Sisters as a first 40k army. Liked it a lot so read the only 2 books published about them. Hammer and Anvil was about Sisters vs Necrons. Liked the idea of a diorama so I started Necrons as well.
And one day I found this amazing picture on the net. So that's how it happened.

There are two now  I am transgender, although I usually just say I am female to most people.
As for my avatar; I love bears for some reason so I googled cute bear avatar because for a while I had no avatar. So it all worked out pretty nicely I would say.

Well, I really liked the Mortal Engines series by Philip Reeve... which is why my username is Shrike... and this is taken from the cover of the most recent book. I didn't have an avatar for about a year, but then I ventured into the OT forum and got confused with someone else. So I chose this picture.
