So I have a Crimson Fist army and love running PK as my warlord. With the updated 7th ed. FAQ, Hold the Line now makes all Sternguard have the Objective Secured rule. Does this carry into an Unbound army list as well? Could I potentially make an Unbound list of all (or mostly) Sternguard and have all of them with Objective Secured?

I could see that being a fun tactic in Unbound.

Objective Secures only applies to Battle Forged armies. You can do whatever you want in Unbound but your units will just be scoring.

This is false. Per the FAQ, Pedro Kantor gives all Crimon Fist sternguard squads in the army the Objective Secured special rule. The OP could absolutely build an all Sternguard strike force with Pedro as warlord and still benefit from Objective Secured on those veteran squads. Since it is an unbound army, it would not allow the rerollable warlord trait though.

I would be absolutely fine with that. Take Pedro and 4-5 full Sternguard squads, drop pod them on every objective and watch my opponent scramble to kill all the units since he can't contest them!
