I am aware of that, there were however rumours that GW have a good working relationship with Sega and have offered them a 40K license as well. Given that there are at least 3 40K games in development GW isn't shy about handing out licenses at the moment and Sega owns the remains of Relic so....

Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.

Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

No there is an MMO that's in development. Dark Millenium was cancelled.

Relic went to SEGA. SEGA already had Warhammer Fantasy. Stands to reason that DoW went with them.

I always forget that they're using the stupid name "Eternal Crusade".

It's hard to get a straight answer on this one. From what I've been able to ferret out, all SEGA got was the Fantasy license despite getting Relic. The license didn't transfer and GW hasn't tried to negotiate a license with them.

I expect big, shiny promos for extremely overpriced games.
I expect one or more of the big console companies to try to hock some new product in another attempt to cleave the video game fanbase further apart.
I expect the entire industry to continue to try to force me to accept handhold video games as a legitimate part of my gaming experience, rather than something I outgrew around the same time I was old enough to drive.
I expect to witness video game developers continuing their natural life cycle, beginning with 'Fresh eyed electronic media artist out to CHANGE the world!' to 'Accomplished professional' to 'Professional past his prime rehashing old ideas while desperately searching for some new inspiration' and finally ending with 'Dead eyed corporate shill flogging the twelfth sequel to the game he made when he was twenty, sustaining his own professional existence only by sucking all the good ideas and talent from unsuspecting indie developers.' (Really, there should be a Discovery special on it...it's a beautiful circle of life...)
