I don't know that you'll get enough value out of the Adrenals on the Hormies...I'd drop them, and toss Thorax Hive(Electro bugs) on both Tyrants, and/or just buy more Gaunts. If you don't have more then the Hives for sure. If you really want glands, you might (might!) get value fron Toxic, because that can wreak enemy MCs.

Personally I would split the first list to 2 CADs so you can run 4 solo zoan, a double and single VT brood. Drop the AG for Poision on the Hormies, and maybe add a few bodies.

Add bodies by swapping to say 7 Devourers and 6 fleshborers in each termie brood. Use the Fleshborers to shield the devourers to keep your damage out put up.

Looks pretty good. I'd drop the third Veno and buy a Hive for each Tyrant, and a handfull of vanilla gaunts for the Devilgaunts... But that kinda depends on your "meta" hereabouts I'm expecting vehicle to multiply like rabbits So I wants me some Electro-bugs.

I'm all for dropping a Veno, the third is more points filler, but i'm not convinced on buying thorax biomorphs for the Tyrants, they can only shoot 2 weapons in the shooting phase so wouldn't 99% of the time they be shooting both devourers? maybe it'd be useful in some situations but i'm not 100% sold on them atm

In this list is just using the standard FOC, no unbound or double FOC, and i'll swap out 3 devourers in each gaunt squad for an additional 3 gaunts each, i think y'all are right about that

The thorax hives with Electro bugs are one of the only sources of Haywire, and vs Heavy Armor a very nice option. It's really "meta" based though. And if you get charged that's a wall o'death you can use. It also gives you a Template for clearing out terrain of pesky Objective Secured foes. S5 AP5 works on AM types very well indeed.

Yeah you've got me sold, they're certainly better then an extra veno, for 10 points its a pretty good deal, and with the points i had spare i chucked in a few more gaunts here and there, thanks for your advice in a little over a month I'll post up how the list went on this thread

Personally I would get toxin on the Hive Tyrants. There are a lot of MCs around these days you'll need them to be able to reliably take down those MCs if you get into combat.

Also Flyrants are better than Dakkafexes so I'd get 2 more Flyrants and split the Zoans out.

Devilgaunts aren't worth it without Hive Commander they die long before they ever get to shoot and you've basically no other little things to distract fire. Warriors would be the best troops choice in this type of list as they saturate the board with targets that S8+ wants to shoot at and S3-4 shots have no real viable targets.

Mawlocs tend to work best in pairs I would consider dropping him for something else (biovores for instance) or trying to find the points to get him a buddy.
