Same here. 69 doors is overkill (at least for me), but a few more barricades would be useful. Improvised barricades have the right look for urban warfare, so I'd like to use them in miniatures gaming as well as Zombicide.

That's my issue with it. 69 doors seems unnecessary. No scenario uses that many doors. No scenario uses half as many doors. But then you get a mighty two barricades. Where's the option to buy more barricades?

Don't forget you're getting 2 barricades for FREE !!

So it's a mighty 4 barricades.

Maybe they'll add barricades as another add on.

Now there are people reducing their pledge or dropping out altogether because they're going nuts over only getting a half-deck of Experience cards.

How do these people got through life without curling up into a little ball and crying themselves into a coma every time some tiny, minor inconvenience comes there way?

There are a lot of things that they haven't put up yet. I think barricades will be offered.

As well as other colors of the dasboard box, and we've seen survivors that haven't been put out there yet. Still lots of stuff to come!

They have also decided upon thew new bio for Dylan -

Dylan, the Handywoman
"Measure twice, cut once!"
Dylan was working as the on-stage assistant for a popular home improvement show sponsored by a major power-tool company. Mainly on the set for eye-candy, she was, in fact, handier than both the star and his bearded assistant. When the zombie apocalypse hit, she was on stage, watching the star do his usual grunting comedy routine while trying to keep him from losing a finger by mishandling a circular saw. By the end of the first day of zombie apocalypse, she discovered fighting off coworkers’ grabby-hands with power-tools had been perfect training for battling against groping undead hordes. Now she roams the streets using her construction skills to help other survivors. She is still always thrilled to meet a fan, provided they keep their hands to themselves!

and the survivor sculpts from that guest box -

You wait, when they add the other half of the experience deck for those not buying the Ultimate Survivor box they'll complain that they have to buy it.

Those sculpts are great. It's a bit of a shame that they will be done in the plastic. They, and actually all characters, deserve a better material to be cast in. I'd love to see a resin version eventually for collectors and painters!

The plastics paint up pretty well......

And that KS comments section is more toxic than a Kardashian garbage bin.

Season 1 was cheap, like $140 for everything. Season 2 was at least twice that.

I'm probably an outlier, but for S2, I only bought the $20 Moustache Pack at the $100 level because I wanted John Cleese, and liked the others. I was tempted to pick up the $10 Ross the Manager, but I'm not paying $5 for a plastic miniature, which I'm not sure I'll paint well since I'm only good for tabletop. I later picked him up resin during the Impact Miniatures "Urban Adventurers (?)" KS that just ended for $2 as part of a set. If you're still looking for him, contact Impact Miniatures ASAP.

As for S3, I got a $90 EB + $11 shipping, and have a $10 credit since I was in S2. Haven't found anything I really wanted yet, and am waiting if they'll sell the Army Painter Zombicide set at a good price.

The miniatures will take paint, but, unpainted, I can barely make out the features. I need all the help I can get, and soft plastic doesn't help.

Thought about priming them with some greyish prime so you get to pick out the details better, and maybe just do the bases differently to quicker identify the characters? I agree that it's hard to see the details on many of the different colours of the plastic (I find yellow, for example, particular hard).

I don't know if this is new news, old news or not news, but Guillotine Games just announced Mission C46 for Zombicide. I asked if this mission would be included in the compendium and they clarified that other than the campaigns and other included items, the missions the compendium includes stop at C31.

They also specifically referred to it as Compendium #1, so another will no doubt appear once they have enough material to fill it (much like the Chapter Approved books of old).

New Skils Preview !!

Now here's another glimpse into Season 3! It introduces several new Skills for your Survivors to acquire in their struggle to overcome the Zombie hordes:

+1 free Dog Action – The Survivor has one extra free Action to use with Dog Companions (see the Dog Companions box). This Action may only be used with Dog Companions.

+1 free Team Action – The Survivor can use an extra Team Action during his Activation, selecting the Team Action card that hasn’t been used yet this round. This Skill may be used even if the Survivor’s team already used a Team Action during the Players’ Phase. This Skill allows using the same Team Action multiple times in the same Players’ Phase, if the team chose identical Team Actions cards during setup.

Barbarian – When resolving a Melee Action, the Survivor can replace the Dice value of the Melee weapon(s) he uses by the number of Actors standing in his Zone (including other Survivors and himself). Skills affecting the dice value, like +1 die: Melee, still apply.

Charge – The Survivor can use this Skill for free, as often as he pleases, during each of his Activations: He moves up to two Zones to a Zone containing at least one Zombie (or rival Survivor). Normal Movement rules still apply. Entering a Zone containing Zombies ends the Survivor’s Move Action.

Fast roping – The Survivor knows how to use ropes to get out of a flying helicopter. He can get out of a flying helicopter to get into a street Zone (but not an indoor alley).

Free reload – The Survivor reloads reloadable weapons (Double Barrel, Mac-10, Sawed-Off, etc.) for free.

Full auto – When resolving a Ranged Action, the Survivor can replace the Dice value of the Ranged weapon(s) he uses by the number of Actors standing in the targeted Zone (including other Survivors and the Survivor himself). Skills affecting the dice value, like +1 die: Ranged, still apply.

Helicopter pilot – The Survivor can pilot a helicopter.

Hit & run – The Survivor can use this Skill for free, just after a Melee or Ranged Combat Action resulting in at least a Zombie kill (or a rival Survivor kill). He can then resolve a free Move Action. The Survivor does not spend extra Actions to perform this free Move Action if Zombies are standing in his Zone.

Jump – The Survivor can use this Skill once during each Activation. The Survivor spends one Action: He moves two Zones into a Zone to which he has Line of Sight. Movement related Skills (like +1 Zone per Move Action or Slippery) are ignored, but Movement penalties (like having Zombies in the starting Zone) apply. Ignore all Actors, barricades, and holes in the intervening Zone (see the Angry Neighbors expansion). Any obstacles other than Actors, barricades, and holes in the intervening Zone prevent the use of this Skill.

Sprint – The Survivor can use this Skill once during each of his Activations. Spend one Move Action with the Survivor: He may move one, two, or three Zones instead of one. Entering a Zone containing Zombies ends the Survivor’s Move Action.

BLUE STEEL has been unlocked

Interesting note: If you read the Barbarian skill it refers to the survivors as "Actors". If you view the game as a movie it easily explains all the famous faces in the crowd, and the action oriented surival action of the game.

Or it could just be to simplify so you don't have to write out "survivor/zombivor". It's easier to just write Actor - a character who may make actions. But yeah, it got me thinking they are pulling our legs here, and in season 4 the outbreak has spread to Hollywood, and in season 5 it is all revealed that it's just a movie you've been playing all along.

They've been referred to as actors as well as survviors all along the season 1 rulebook uses the term actors - check page 13 the yellow box.

I had a quick look over breakfast this morning and had to put the tablet down some stupid arguement or other that went on for hours. A lot of people getting very heated over silly things , CMoN planned this out and have the sculpts done and in production arguing over what survivor gets made next is pretty pointless IMO (as is reposting the top 50 most wanted survivirs over and over again)

I agree, and I disagree. While I also find most of the comments on the KS to be a bit too repetative, to be honest, what else is there to discuss in the comments? I'd much rather have a lively fan-base than the type that puts in $100 and then leaves for 30 days to come back the final day to make sure the $100 is still enough. So I can live with it, and just ignore it when I can't be arsed.

The final Guest Box is now available -

BROTHER MAX the MONK

“Blessed be the undead, for they have inherited the earth.”
Brother Max’ monastery was destroyed during the zombie outbreak and the rampage that followed. Scrounging weapons from the rubble, he emerged for the first time in years to face the world. Brother Max views the zombie outbreak as the start of the Apocalypse and believes that the zombies are rising from the dead and are therefore holy. By blowing their heads off he is sending them to Heaven where they belong. Brother Max’ religious fervor makes him an excellent fighter, although his zeal to send as many zombies to Heaven as possible can be unnerving.

DONNA the FASHIONISTA
“At least I don’t have to worry about price tags anymore.”

Donna has always had superior taste. Her sense of art, music, and especially clothing was far superior to more pedestrian intellects. Unfortunately, she had zero talent for craftsmanship. She had the eye, but the ability always eluded her. Still, she made a decent living as a consultant, especially for a number of B-grade martial arts films. She was on the set when the zombie apocalypse began, surrounded by elegant weapons. While Donna hasn’t quite gotten used to the grunge and squalor of Survivor living, she has found one bright side: She has her pick of clothes. The zombies are almost an aside when they stand between her and particularly elegant evening wear. Any Survivor groups are guaranteed to improve their image, just by having her around.
