That did not end well, and I would rather they do not yet again start some army, sell models to people, get them to paint the models, do tons of conversions, get invested into an army, and then poof, remove the rules to play said army. That is a real jerk move to do.

Since the've gone to 1 page Datafax format, they could just give us the rules for each 40K DOW unit in their box

Not particularly, no. I would not like a new race.
However I would positively love something akin to a "Codex: Xenos" some sort of compilation book with a fluff and units in it from the Kroot, Demiurge, Jokaero, and some of the more esoteric races like the Hrud and whatnot.
Maybe just one or two units each that could be thrown into other armies.

Adamsouza, those are other examples of why I hope GW will not do a “dog of war”-style release for 40k, and why if they do I would certainly not invest any money or effort in it, and would actively warn others about the dangers of doing so, yes.

If they expanded Knights into Mechanicus, I would die happy.

And Knights can't really function without Mechanicus... Wait.

That applies to everything in the Imperium, doesn't it.

Without pulling another tau, the only thing I could see is a pre age of strife human faction. (they stayed strong, as the human empire collapsed around them.

That's not new, that's Lost and the Damned. THey had a codex at one point.

Mercinery forces?
Mix of many races, xeno, human, equipment is mixed but low tech.
More a allied force but to add more flavour. Can work with anyone.

I think that any new race with more primitive look will be great. Xenos(with silex weapons such savage orks and not to much tall.

Anyways. My point was just trying to add a little humor while pointing out some simple facts about blood angels that make them different from vanilla SM. If people will back grey knights having their own codex I think its hypocritical to say blood angels shouldn't. They came way before grey knights (I think back in 2nd edition) and are in reality, so much different. What It all comes down to is personal preference, so it really doesn't matter. GW has their own agenda for blood angels and they will continue to get their own codex so. I guess I win in the end? Anyone who plays blood angels or knows how they work should know they aren't anything like Vanilla Marines. Same with Dark Angels. Look at necrons for example. They started off with few rules and units (3rd ed) included in some other book and now they have so many rules and units they have their own codex. It's the same deal for blood angels. Trying to fit all the different units and rules into space marines codex would be ridiculous. You can do that with imperial fists or black templars because they basically share the same the same qualities as Vanilla....with a few exceptions. TO GW its obviously all about money, but I think it's fair to say both grey knights and blood angels should get their own codex. The issue isn't the ones that exist, it's that GW has figured out people keep buying the suppliments and whatnot. SO they are going to keep popping them out. In my honest opinion, maybe they should have done a completely different race then grey knights in the first place, because back then we already had dark angels, blood angels, and vanilla.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion however.
the reason why myself and others are more inclined to back the grey knights is because how radically differnt they are. Blood Angels have their own unique parts yes, but at their heart they're a codex following chapter. they deploy a certin number of companies, with a rough 6/2/2 ratio of troops (ideally) they have things like death companies etc. but those are easier to mix in then the grey knights which don't really have any similarties in terms of arms and equipment to vanilla Marines.
now personally I'm all for keeping things seperate, but if GW ahd to cut down on the number of codexes up there I think DAs and BAs would and should be up for chopping.
