Another 7th edition game. Two very new players trying out 750 lists. Comments and critiques are welcome for the new players as they are learning.

Something I'd say about the devastators is that they could be a lot more effective by replacing the heavy bolters with stuff like lascannons or even multi meltas because you need high strength low ap weapons for taking out Tau heavy support.

Also that bike squad will be toast if fired upon by the broadside team with both the twin-linked rail guns and sms

I agree. Many more high str, low ap weapons would have been more effective for an Ultramarines list. The player brought up post game that he'll look more into the tanks and flyers to help boost his firepower as well. I think all good points.
