Subject: Some random questions for you experienced painters and modelers--> orange hair, defence lines

Hello!
So I've started to work on two projects at one time. Kinda.
I have the Stormclaw box set and I'm working on painting them up, starting with the bloodclaws. I'm liking where I'm going with them so far, but I've run into a problem: I have no idea how to paint orange hair. Hoping someone out there has tackled this (I know some of you have, I've seen your work! NO HIDING NOW!!) and can give me some pointers.
Second, I'm starting to build a DKoK army. I'm not sure what type of army I'll be building, but I know that I want to create some fortifications for the army to use. I plan to green stuff over the dead cadians on the Imperial Defence line and use those, possibly adding some more skulls, because Death Korps, and then add some razor wire and what-not from GF9.
I was thinking it would be cool to perhaps build ANOTHER defence structure for an opponent to use so that we could re-create some of the trench warfare on Vraks. I don't want their fortifications to look just like mine, nor do I really want to make them
'Chaos-y'. I know that Vraks was held by Chaos, but I'm not wanting just a mirror of my trenches with some spikes or whatever. I had though about using several Aegis defence lines, but that seems like it wouldn't be the exact look I'm going for and would probably be to expensive anyway. Anybody have any thoughts on this? I really don't think I can make my own from scratch-- I've never worked with foam before and I don't have any of the tools necessary to do so.
So, yeah, I need some help!

Orange hair you could always bend up from brown > orange
As for your DKoK defense line, why not GS sand bags over the pile o cadiens
as well make simple fox hole, crater, sandbag terrain for your table.

Check the WD talking about Stormclaw, particularly the painting section.

Well, there's a slight risk of gluing something together with it. Only slight, mind.

Ok, I'll look into that. They sell White Dwarf for iPad, right?

I like the idea of the sandbags over the cadians. I may try that. File down some flat spots and then just lay out some sand bags.
I plan on making some craters and fox holes and such, but I'm thinking I may want to do an entire defense network on the other side of the board.
