Another laser-cut MDF terrain Kickstarter. This one stands out a bit for its modularity and the fact the buildings attach to the base boards that are part of the KS pledges.
There are a couple interesting pieces as well. Not sure how I feel about an MDF tree. Shipping is prohibitive. A few pics below:

Large town pledge:
Small dungeon pledge:

Shipping is prohibitive but realistic seeing as these are two guys working from their home as a start up business. And that's why I'd rather not do swapshop trades outside of the EU.
I'm curious though, is this stuff good value in comparison with what's already out there? €47 for a church and benches, excluding shipping, does seem a bit steep.

Like the look of this but the baseplate size is a bit strange, 10"×7"? 6"×6" or 12"×12" would've been more desirable for me though.

This kickstarter looks really neat.
Something about those trees sends bizarre warm feelings to my brain. I've got hundred of trees from woodland scenics, but i want an entire forest of 2d trees.
Does anybody else think the number of street lamps seems a little absurd? What does a tiny settlement with three houses need 30 street lamps for?

Yeah, I don't understand it either. It doesn't add up nicely. Maybe it makes more sense in metric, but then why do the squares in inches?

IIRC, many 'affordable' laser cutters have a bed size that allows for objects max. 10"x7" in size. That might have something to do with it

It's a shame it's like that though as if it was 6x6 or 12x12 I would seriously consider pledging.

Since we do our own production a 6x6 baseplate would be no problem at all to make. If you decide to pledge, send us a message and we will make sure the baseplates get divided into 6" by 6".

Thank you, it seems people either love or hate the trees .
The reason for the 'absurd' number of street lights is simply because they are small and are easily fitted with the cutouts. So we figured better to have too many then too little.
Streetlights come in two different varieties as well!
In case you are unhappy about the quantity of the streetlights, as mentioned before, we do our own production and it would be no trouble for us to reduce the amount of streetlights

*Ding ding ding* You sir are correct! We aimed for the largest possible playingfield so it would all hold together better.

This Tuesday we will be at the Subcultures (Utrecht, the Netherlands) around 11:30am to discuss a pick-up location. If anyone wants to have a look and feel, feel free to come by and say hi.
