So points changes between editions

Captain Karlaen went from 155 pts to 160 pts, but his Thunder Hammer is master-crafted.

Terminators went from 210 pts to 215 pts but have a unique character with Preferred Enemy Tyranids.

Death Company went from 260 pts to 210 pts but have a unique character with an additional attack.

Death Company Dreadnought stayed 140 pts. Blood Talons got a significant boost, IMO.

DC Dreads didn't in the previous codex, I imagine that remains the case.

Its the same but different. In the omnibus it was Rafen, and yes, he succumbed to the rage after injecting himself with a vial of Sanguinius' blood.. But they fixed it by separating the blood out, if i recall correctly. Curious though.

The Terminator Captain looks to have a huge amount of potential in terms of customization. Sucks that his cape in in two parts(one of which is on his arm and shoulder). But the legs are separate so people can give him something other than the fencer's pose.

They want you to order and pick up from their stores. If you had ordered it from their store and selected "in store pick-up", it would already be there waiting for you to come and get it on Saturday.

I ordered mine from The War Store, and this was on their site yesterday:

The stock to fill Black Friday orders is coming in more slowly than we expected. Battlefront and Dust Stocks (other than the PreOrders that are known to be arriving later) should be arriving tomorrow. Games Workshop has told our distributor that they are overwhelmed with orders and filling them as fast as they can. We will ship out all orders as soon as we can get the stock in to fill them. So I'll get mine next Friday, just as a guess.

Don't put too much stock into the points values. None of the Tyranid ones match up with the codex. For example, the Carnifex equipped as listed would be 155pts rather than 170.

It's decent cost, certainly much better than before. I was still hoping for 2-3 pts for the jump pack with the base cost staying the same.

In saying that it's normally a 10pt upgrade for a character with an extra attack and ld bonus which doesn't matter for DC. If that's the case then perhaps we are looking at 23pts per model with a jump pack which is what I was hoping for.

Well, they call him out as the Death Company's Squad Leader(not as a Sergeant specifically) in WD#44 so perhaps we will start seeing Death Company as able to be controlled and directed a little in the Fluff. It is cool that they are using a character from the novels as someone for Deathstorm.

Actually considering his role in that book and what he does at the end it would make sense. He is pretty much the only one to keep his head straight while the other were losing it around him and it was his actions that saved the rest from pretty much falling into the black rage in the first place.

Yes. Depends on how good our Detachment is, it will probably beat ObSec.

Same with mine, but they actually ship it beforehand. My store has it already but my order says pending. The store manager says he can't give it to me till tomorrow though.

Maybe its because Raphen that DC can score objectives now. So much fluff

Blood Angels Codex or the Deathstorm Datasheets ?

Too early for Codex leaks, maybe Monday when the White Dwarf leaks we will see some codex blurry pics.

All the DeathStorm Datasheets are on the web already, mentioned them on my blog.

For anyone struggling with time zones, it is currently 18.30 in the UK, so approx 30 mins until the site may be updated. (Tends to be just after 1900 through to about 1930 most weeks)

You have a tracking number? We don't get anything like that over here lol. It just says pending or dispatched lol.
