I watch the miniwargaming battle reports while painting or whatever...
Nothing wrong about the reports.. Quite nice...
But now there is this fat Guy.

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lvqDCKWSVzc

I think he is called ash.
After 5 Minuten Watching the Report i looked up to the screen.
After another 5 my jaw Dropped.
I switched fast forward 10 minutes.
My wife came into the Room to bring me a coffee... Watched at the screen...

" you dont plan to Play with this People?"
Uhmmm no, just watching
"The Fat Guy... Does he have some Kind of mental handicap?"
Uhmm no dont think so
" ok..."

Hes screaming all over the Place... Bäääbääämmmm.. Not One Time not two Times... Every fething Time hes doing something...
Screaming ...attacking your DEFFFFIIII.. dEEEEffffIIiIiI IIiIiIiSsSSsSs goooouuuaaaaaaeeeeoooiinnnngggggggggg dddddaaaooouuuuuwwwnnnnnn..

Always loved the reports but i cant take this Guy...
Anyone experienced the Same?

I skimmed through. While definitely not something I'd like to watch it seemed better than anything with Matt in it.

I think he is just trying to be entertaining. It is an hour long video after all. If you think he's loud, try watching Jesse Cox, lol. Now that guy is hyperactive.

I have some trouble to understand why someone would want to listen (not even properly WATCH) WH40K batreps in the first place (especially since WH40K is not the most tactical tabletop game in the world, to begin with ) but yeah, it gets a bit annoying after some minutes.

Beautiful eyes, though!

I personally find Ash quite entertaining. He can get quite energetic and it's fun to watch. Wargaming is a fun and silly thing and Ash just exemplifies that IMO.

Ash is to Steve what Dave is to Matt. Both of them are just more concentrated, Ash is very wild all the time and Steve knows all the rules.

Yeah. I swear to god, if Steve's Deathwing roll morale checks one more time and get Hatred I'm gonna jump through the monitor on beat him around with the DA Dex

When I first watched Ash in a Batrep vs Someone else (before he joined MWG) I didn't like him, however the more videos I've watched of his the more I have grown to like him. Sometime it is a little annoying but overall he is ok and he has some beautiful armies too.

Steve is still my favourite though.

Edit - Also I think calling him the fat guy is a little mean

I think ash is the guy that does the world at war bat reps ( the mwg fantasy one?), at first he struck me as a WAAC gamer that verged on cheating, or at least bending the rules significantly to gain an advantage.

After watching a few though I just think that he doesn't really know the rules... Just glad I haven't subscribed to their website as I don't think I could stomach watching so many mistakes having paid for the privilege.

To be fair this was one of Ash's first reports for stand alone series. Yeah was not a fan of this one but he has gotten much better.

BAO 2015 : Best Space Wolves.

The best battle plans are the simplest. Just run forward and punch your enemy in the face.

Think he moved across country. He was the only one worth watching imo. MWG has been doing a slow circle around the drain since they begged for money on KS.

Talking about the whole 'dark potential' thing? They were doing that shortly before i took about a 2 year break from the hobby. I notice now they don't sell any minis aside from that now, but I haven't heard anything about the game aside from the KS. I like their batreps especially matt and dave because the editing and commentary is well done. That and every other batrep i watch online is full of rambling, repetition, and doesn't show movement or dice rolls which is where the suspense and excitement comes from. The narrative campaigns are also quite fun to watch.

That guy does some industry talk on their channel. Wasn't very interesting stuff that seemed like common knowledge.

Where is that guy with the beard that goes Waaaaagh a lot? I like that guy.

I think we have enough threads discussing MWG in this section for now! And this particular angle has been pretty well covered by the comments above.

If more discussion is needed, perhaps with a more descriptive OP, please PM me about starting a new thread... thanks.
