With Warhammer: Khaine already sold out, I'm curious what people anticipate doing with the new book. I haven't seen any rules yet, so pure speculation on my part. Here's my initial thoughts:
Elven Omni-Cav list: Dark Rider / Silver Helm Core, BotWD Dragon Princes or Warlocks w/ fighty chars, Sisters as mage bunkers. Lead by mostly DE characters, assuming they can freely join units of other elves. A shootier version will include 8 bolt throwers.
Anything people are excited about for the elf infantry?

I believe Dragon Princes and Warlocks are candidates for NOT being in the "all elves mashed together final list"
Warlocks sold their souls to Slaanesh, big no-no for nicer elves
Caledor might well be in open revolt / war / conflict against the rest of Ulthuan
Dragons Princes maybe ... but seeing Warlocks alongside all the other Elves would just be silly

If the elf books become a legion, warlocks are interchangeable with sisters.
And malekith bound their souls to slaanesh so that they wouldn't fulfil the prophecy of demise. Read the totally not new fluff!
I haven't been able to find these on Dakka anywhere, so here are some Rumors / Spoiler:
Spoiler:
Malekith has 2 profiles, 1 for him being Phoenix King, the other for him being the Eternity King. One is 1000 points, the other 800. Some pretty sick rules here: Loremaster Shadow, L5 Wizard, immune to multiple wounds, 10 attacks doing d3+1 wound, innate ability which is basically Walk Between Worlds boosted (once every turn and it's not a spell => no dispel or anything like that can be made), all units within X inches have martial prowess increased to yet another rank and murderous prowess troops can re-roll any failed to wound rolls.
Imrik has a combined profile with the Star Lance, he clocks in at 800 ish points with 10 S7 attacks.
Tyrion, avatar of khaine (700 points). Statline roughly as it is now. Frenzy, units with Murderous Prowess within 12" with re-rolling all failed (not just 1s), immune to psychology, bound spell summoning undead ("summon the glorious dead", basically skellywarriors). He still has Dragon Armour and Heart of Avelorn and he rides Malhandir. Widowmaker autowounds, no armour saves, D6 wounds. Cannot be destroyed.
Host of the Eternity King (= Malekith), which is assumed to be the "survivors", has access to all units in all 3 elven books. All units with Murderous Prowess in the Host of the Eternity King also gain Martial Prowess and vice versa.
- Tyrion, Teclis and Morathi all die - Malekith survives the entire thing and becomes the "Eternity King". I suppose this means he leads all Elves. - Imrik apparantly survives
Frankly, all you Elf players frothing to form your own Host of the Eternity King and get it on the table can enjoy your circle jerk, you shan't be playing me with it

I have heard there will be 3 separate lists for the Khaine book so wont be a mash them all together as different aspects will be in differing lists

Boss Salvage, source? IIRC the Host of the Eternity King is Malekiths list against the Aestyrion, and as I understand it there is no one list to rule them all as certain units will only be able to be taken in certain lists.

As my last three games at the FLGS have been: Legion of Chaos: Khorne Daemons (all unbreakable, no unstable) Legion of Chaos: Nurgle Warriors + GUO (+ summonable khannons) Undead Legions: Scream Spam + TK archers
I'm excited to field my own list with ridiculous broken rules. My preferred executioner spam may be viable again if Boss Salvage's posted rumors are correct. Thanks for the upload!

And those with Forest Stalkers? Don't get anything shiny because we're just there for moral support, I suppose?

GW already said that malekith leads the united elves. He gets crowned as the eternity king in athel Loren.
Warhammer: Khaine Book 2 is a 48-page rules book that contains six new scenarios and orders of battle based on the events in Warhammer: Khaine Book 1. It includes Magic of the End Times, a new spell lore available to all armies, and new army lists, allowing customers to field a unified Elven army drawn from Wood Elves, High Elves and Dark Elves to match different parts of the narrative.
I wonder what the new spell lore is?
With only 2 more books remaining, my lizardmen are feeling left out. Do we come in at end times 5 and show up with amazons with lasguns? Got the models all ready to go.

They gain both Martial and Murderous Prowess and Forest Strider, instead of Forest Stalker.
Edit: Or just look at Boss Salvage's link.

The lists are leaked.
Unless you go host of the eternity king, any model with martial prowess replaces murderous prowess with it.
Forest Strider gets mentioned in The phoenix king and eternity king lists. But Teclis doesn't. Hmmmm....

That should say forest stalker. The rule gets replaced with martial prowess and forest strider.

Trade rules: lower rep trades ships 1st. - I ship within 2 business days, if it will be longer I will contact you & explain. - I will NOT lie on customs forms, it's a felony, do not ask me to mark sales as "gifts". Free shipping applies to contiguous US states.
It appears that Tullaris is Sir-Not-Appearing-In-This-Film as well. I wonder if he bites it in the fluff. Means I'll have to throw in a death hag if I want murderous prowess+martial prowess + frenzy on my executioners.
Damn, I don't see Malus either. My 2 favorite characters....
Especially since Malus is prophesied to be the scourge of the world. Hopefully he doesn't just get off'd.

Oh yeah. Loremastery of Warhammer does kind of make him a major deal. But. Level 2.

Malus was prophesied to be the avatar of Khaine. But Tully is that. And now Tyrion is too. Apparently Khaine is a fickle mistress.

There's also that tidbit about all mages getting loremaster now on endtimes games.
So wouldn't a Loremaster with book of Hoeth and Talisman of Preservation be an auto include in every list?
If I read it right, it means:
- You know every spell in the common magic,
- Have an ok fighty lord,
- Reroll a single die from dispel or cast,
- Have a 4++.
Seems pretty good to me for how many pts he would be.
40k: - Cadian 231st, Death Guard, Sisters, Dark Eldar Iyanden, Scythes of the Emperor
WHFB Armies: High Elves, Empire, WoC, Beastmen, Lizardmen, Dark Elves, Vampires
That tidbit is unconfirmed as to wether or not it is a scenario specific special rule or not.
It may be like chaos ascendant & just be a scenario specific special rule.

4 ways that end times magic appears according to Khaine-
1) scenario states it does
2) new unit from Khaine is being used
3) Any new elf host list used
4) Either player wants it to be used. ( note not both agreeing on it)
Interesting note, that after you declare what spell you want to cast you have to roll to see how many dice you are allowed to cast with. and spells 14 or less casting value can be cast over and over even if you fail, broken concentration only applies to harder spells. So a lvl 4 with a hierotitan could literally cast single invocation on 1 dice for every power dice he has.Well until the worlds supplies of zombies are used.
And loremasters can reroll casting dice.

I wouldn't mind this new rule too much if it was an End Times only thing, like the chaos rule, but if one player wants too is a bit much.
I see many issues with some builds spamming cheap casters with lots of nonsense.
Like (somewhat off topic because not elves) take bray shamans dancing around the herdstone and get them constantly turning into Dragons/hydras/whatever. 75pts Monster? Yes please... or, let your imagination go wild with undead summoning.

Well if only some games allow this rule at events, then people may get burned, but I think elves will dominate in those events if not by winning but sheer number of participants.
