Here's how you enter for the random drawing which will be selected at the end of the day.
• Must "Join" the event on Facebook
• Must have a 3 color painted Army (Primer Counts at 1 paint)
• Must participate in all 4 rounds of the tournament
• Must be present to win

Army Construction:
• You may not have more than 1 Combined Arms Detachment
• You may not have more than 1 formation
• All Formations, Codices, and Dataslates published by 1/1/2015 are considered legal.
• Forgeworld rules will not be legal for 2015
• You may select 0-1 Fortifications from the following: Aegis Defense Line, Imperial Bastion, Skyshield Landing Platform, Firestorm Redoubt, and Vengeance Weapons Battery
• Conjured units are not considered part of an explicit Detachment. As a result, benefits from your Warlord such as Conqueror of Cities and benefits granted by being a part of a given detachment do not apply to Conjured Units. Furthermore, as a RAW clarification, Conjured Models interact with other models as per the Allies Matrix, regardless of the Faction that summoned them.
• 300 Base point LOW ARE Allowed
• Allied Detachments MAY BE SELECTED from the same Faction as the Primary Detachment i.e Tau and Farsight or Eldar and Iyandian NOT Tau and Tau shenanigans
• Fortification Upgrades from Stronghold are not allowed, but rulebook Quad Gun, Icarus, and Comms Relay are.


Painting Challenge:
We will provide you one “Space Marine”
Cost: 5.00
• Painting Challenge starts at 11am and concludes at the end of round 4
• You must paint between rounds and lunch and on site
• All entries must be placed on display at by end of round 4
• Winner of the painting challenge will be voted on by the players
• Winner of painting challenge will win 100.00 store credit

Being an asshat, disruptive and generally douchebaggery will not be tolerated and I will ask you to leave.

Racism and sexism is not tolerated and will be asked to leave.
Touching peoples stuff, means they get to touch you while we all look away. Anyone caught stealing will be banned from the store and probably from the various gaming communities.

I do not mean to be a total butt head but you do know you do not have a points Limit set right? So if you show up with my entire Blood Angels Chapter I can use it ? I mean we can fit a lot in 1 Full CAD and Allied CAD. I assume it is 1850,1500,1000 but I could bring a Lot of models under the rules you have listed. Going Full Pimp I bet I could stuff 10k in a list for this. It is a 6 hour drive for me, so going full pimp beast model for a free army maybe worth it. Nercon and Nid army looks nice.

Well the restriction set in the Rules and the number of WS that can be fielded for the points it very obvious that you can run a minimum number of other models and max WS with the Main and allied both being able to pick Eldar is very obvious. No Fw even 40k approved is good for balance but limits a lot of shiny armies. Might want to go ahead and make a rule for the firing arc of them as well because that is very open unless you guys clearly state it. I'm just pointing out 5-7 Wave firing serpent shields Turn 1 is quiet impressive the first time you have it done against you. Normally the shock and horror on the face of the person you will never forget. I personally did not notice this Thread till a friend call me to ask if I still had my 10 waves sitting around with my old Eldar army. I have not used since the new rule book came out. Reason i had 10 exactly was for Sunstorm and Cloudstrike formations in Apoc, 5 and 5 since they are the same models I had 10 made.

I love what you're doing here, but six games in a day is a lot. Why not cut down to 3 rounds at 2 hours and 15 minutes each and start a little earlier in the day (i.e. registration at 8, game 1 at 9)? That lets your normal games wrap up around 5 or 6 and go into the playoffs around 6:30/7.

There were a lot to consider in rounds times etc. I wanted to start a bit later to allow our Houston dallas and ause in make it up there without having to leave at 3am.

4 two hour rounds will only take 9ish hours so for most of us we will be done by 7ish. Then we cut to top 4 and they just do single Elim to determine placement.

Going only 3 rounds with 60+ players means. at the end of round 3 I will have 7 undefeated. With 4 rounds 3.5 or top 4 will go on for 2 more games

Looks fun, BUT what if someone does not have facebook?
