Merry Christmas!

Unlike you crazy anglo-saxon we in Sweden have already celebrated most christmas with plenty of ham, meatballs, herring and glögg. Santa didn't bring me a lot of gaming stuff this year since I am old enough to buy what I want. But someone was thoughtful enough to get me a copy of X-Wing, a game I haven't even considered. It does seem a lot of fun!

What about all you others? What did santa bring?

Not sure what my wife got me this year. She says its a really good gift something that I wanted. She bought me the x wing starter set earlier this month for my birthday. Would not mind some warmachine stuff but not sure if she would know what to buy.

4 Air brushes, 1 Compressor, 75 Werewolves, 150 Egyptian Undead, and 2 boxes of Deathstorm

Technically, Space Hulk. The fact I've had it for 3 months and painted half of it is neither here nor there...

Other than that, I'll be getting some stuff to continue my Star Wars repaints. Can't argue with cheap minis by the bucketload for my favourite franchise/setting!

Only the ones from my Auntie cos we don't get chance to see her Christmas Day. More a family tradition haha.

Nothing, sadly. Being a single mother with no real friends in the area does have its downpoints. I miss having presents to open!

But hey, seeing kid happy on Christmas Day makes it a-okay.

I bought the Dark Angels Expansion for Dark Vengeance and let my wife wrap it and put it under the tree. I'll get to open it in about 8 hours Right now, I'm watching the 24-hour loop of A Christmas Story while waiting for the kids to fall asleep, so we can put the presents under the tree.

Another starter box of Robotech

The only gaming related stuff so far has been a voucher to my FLGS and Zombicide season 2.

Non gaming has been an iPad mini 2, a 5L keg of Heineken, some cash, a couple of Pop! Figures, a mug and some chocolate.

Santa came earlier in the week for me. I picked up the Nephlim jetfighter. I know I know, horrible rules for the point cost. But the model is a as good looking model. I did enjoy painting get it up for my DA allies.

My wife bought me the Codex Blood Angels Sanguinary Guard Edition.

I also just got a Woldwrath and some Daturatzi Witch Soldiers off my mum

Some crap of little of interest and a Lego Darth Vader flashlight that I actually bought for myself a few weeks ago but the Mrs had hidden to give to me. One of the kids will probably knick that off me at some point today anyway.

Funny story, my wife went to a GW store alone, did not understand a word of what the guy was talking about ( I believe she was bombarded with crazy miniatures names and box sets and starters stuff ) She ignored him and said I know what Im doing this is for my 40 year old husband ( which was a total lie she is completely clueless about what I like ) and guess what, she got the most ugly miniature she could see there and got me the freaking Glottkin
I mean that is exactly the one miniature box set I wanted.

Got a new airbrush and the dwarf bust from Scibor. Also got Cards Against Humanity and Forbidden Island.

Box of Pathfinders. Was impressed with these when they first came out, but have only just persuaded myself to get some.

Relatively good value - 10 Pathfinders and 3 drones for £20 - compared to other GW infantry sets e.g. 5 Dire Avengers for £20.50.

I cant bring myself to ask for many toy soldiers from friends / family - I buy what I want myself. And besides, back in the start of December when I was asked what I wanted, there is no garantee that what I ask for is what interests me in several weeks time.

But anyway, I did get a dremel, the end times book 1, fresh paint bushes and the X wing starter set.
