Yeah I think that will be the same for me. Only caveat being I will buy rules that I already have models to use with.

I'll be spending a good chunk of the year in Afghanistan, so I won't be purchasing much. My laptop can't handle to many newer games, and I've already got all the old games that I play on here. Tabletop wise, baring Fantasy taking off in the local area, I don't see myself buying anything. I've got all I need 40K wise, and no one here plays FoW, so no need for that...

I should probably add that I shouldn't buy any more paint, I already have more colours than I use.

If I really feel the urge, I can always download some rules or make some of my own. My friends have all kinds of games, and I can also just walk down to the public library and borrow a video game or a RPG book.

The priority how ever will be to play the games I already have.

I've been constructing my IH army, which is the first army I've put together in 8 years-haven't played 40k in soooo long. So, this year enough of the army needs to be finished that I can christen it on the table-it's taken me 18 months to get sort of close, thanks to work getting in the way :(

Hmm, well the first thing I want to do is get a nice army together for Kings of War and Warhammer (ie same army in both games). I've already made a start on that in fact. Got one of each box from the Wargames Factory Rising Sun range on their way to me.

I plan to use them as Empire in Warhammer and Kingdoms of Men in Kings of War. Obviously that leads to the goal of playing more Wahammer and actually starting to play Kings of War. I'll probably stick to around 1000pts (WHFB) and 750pts (KoW) for a while to learn the army and get everything painted.

I want to play more Bolt Action and actually finish an army at some point. Got 500pts each of German Heer, Poles and Soviets and 1000pts of German Fallschirmjager all hanging around mostly unpainted.

I need to play more Star Trek Attack Wing simply because I love it. Probably got enough ships by now that I don't need to buy any more but I'll probably cave in and buy a few more at some point.

Oh and then there's my ever growing board game collection, I will almost certainly keep adding to that. There's loads of great board games out there and I've now got a semi regular gaming group meeting and my house so I've got an excuse to get more (yay!).

Finally if possible I'd like to build a gaming table in my spare bedroom but that really depends on how much money I have spare since I also need other furniture at some point.

When it comes to painting I'm fairly glacial too. I am planning on doing some sort of plog thingy though which will no doubt like all others I've done get abandoned at some point because I'm too lazy to take up to date photos.

I have so much to paint this year. Finishing painting off my Menoth army before I add anything. Also have about 100 clanrats that I have to finish painting this year. Had to take a long break from the clanrats because it just gets to boring. So for 2015 i plan on painting everything I have before I buy anything, don't want to dig the hole Iam in any deeper.

Thank you.

If you want a slightly smaller samurai goal to work out check out ospreys ronin rules. 10 or so models is enough for a buntai and you can use those same models for KOW

Fairly simple for me, just paint my WFB O&G and Bloodbowl team.

Things that can potentially ruin my plan, Zombicide season3 or starting a new WFB army.

1. Keep playing in local community games,
2. Expand my SAGA collection by finishing my Welsh waband, adding to my Normans, and buying some terrain.
3. Play some Battletech with the new 2014 Introductory Set.
4. Wait for and then play the Second Edition of Strange Aeons that I helped kickstart earlier in 2014.
5. Maybe pick up something to do with WWI. Baccus now has a great 6mm range and a starter set coupled with a digital set of Great War Spearhead II.

And, most important,
6. KEEP PAINTING!

My goals are:
1.) To get my Imperial Japanese force for Bolt Action up and running asap.
2.) Paint enough Tyranids to play a game.
3.) Paint Space Hulk.
4.) Finish my FoW Soviet army.
5.) Paint my Ronin buntai.

Most of those are already bought so it's just painting work. However it will take me a while so I need to try to avoid buying new stuff. I'd also like to increase the level of my painting so I feel they're painted good enough.

For Malifaux:

1) paint what I have allready, about 6 crew boxes 15ish human sized individuals and 4 big guys (50mm, HT 3-4)
2) ALL THE ARCANISTS!!! (Marcus, beasts, and anything new )
3) pickup Levi, the Vics, atypical nephlim, and Pigs.
4) average one game night every 2 weeks minimum.

For other stuff:

1) paint my Steampunkers and Wild Westerners for a steampunk-ish RPG campaign. (Malifaux / Iron Kingdoms / whatever else looks like fun mash-up)
2) finish my mirror dog Trollbloods, Circle, and Enforcers.
3) limit myself to new stuff for games I've allready started and still want to play.

1. Switch over to P3 paints.
2. Finish up my Rivet Wars core set (plus 2-3 of the expansion packs)
3. Stick to my goal of only 2 Kickstarters per year (succeeded this year!)
4. Up my painting game - hopefully because of the Figone painting book I pledged for (1 of the 2). Learn 2 brush blending.
5. Sell some stuff, and make sure my painting total is greater than my minis purchased. (Failed this year :/ )
6. Paint up a few of my Warmahordes starter sets.
7. Keep inching along with FF stuff.

I wanna start a YouTube channel dedicated to 40k, I close to retiring from my current job in 5 years. Would like to see if I can make money with 40k on YouTube.

I'd like to offer some painting tutorials, terrain tutorials, battle reps and monthly painted model give aways.

Since I'm getting a divorce this coming up month, perhaps spend sometime doing stuff I like to do.

1. Play more.
2. Don't buy as much.
3. Paint more.
4. See backlog diminish.

I really don't play as often as I want to. Maybe once a month, or every 2-3 weeks if I'm lucky. Buying cool new models is my other main problem, and right now I need to stop spending money. So I want to concentrate on my backlog, in this order.

1. Infinity Haqqislam. These guys are now roughly 50% finished. I should be able to plough through them.
2. Infinity Tohaa. These guys haven't been started at all, and I really want to take a crack at painting them.
3. Malifaux Neverborn. I do these guys occasionally to break up my Infinity backlog and inject a bit of Fantasy into my sci fi painting. So they're not super urgent because they get done anyway.
4. Zombicide. I just got into these games, and they're super fun. But these minis need painting. There's so many of them. I'll probably take the same approach with these as I am with Malifaux. Prime 5-6 zombies and paint them between Infinity models. This helps with the repeat model syndrome the game has going on as well.

Overall I just need to paint more. I used to paint every night, a little or a lot, just to keep the brush practice up, but life has gotten in the way. I need to get back into it.

1. Finish painting my FoW US Armored Rifle Company + Support
2. Paint the Hobbit starter set party (don't judge me - I love The Hobbit and got the game for 45% off retail).
3. Paint my new Malifaux stuff, when it arrives
4. Zombies!
5. Make a start on my Persian Invasion of Greece stuff.

Fortunately, it's all based on stuff I already own.
Unfortunately, it's a lot of painting and I'm unbelievably slow.

2015 will be the year of MORE DAKKA!!!

I plan to completely mobilize my orks and increase my blast and large blast weaponry.

I also plan to bash kit up some Forge World vehicles to supplement my normal vehicle list and convert my real old trukks into a force of Warbuggies.

If it all works out I will have 100 boyz and around 50 to 75 specialists (elite and heavy support types) all in trukks, battlewagons, big trakks, junkas and such. I will have a collection of grot tanks, a grot mega tank and at least one big trakk with the biggest effing gun I can mount. My artillery options will be 5 each of bubblechukkas, kannons, Smasha Guns and trakktor kannons to mix and match along with plenty of mega armor choices to march them up the battlefield and give the gretchins some serious protection.

I plan to perfect my Death Star formation. Artillery units surrounded by trukks and armor filled with boys all moving slowly forward slamming the enemy with whatever damage would be most effective. The mass dropping off units to take and hold objectives as it moves along the board like a massive amoeba of death and destruction.

Everything will burn if you get it hot enough.

I'm gonna echo the sentiment of painting more and buying less. We'll see though!

I'd like to get more gaming in, be it X-wing, Pulp Alley, or what have you. I'd like to see a few games of Infinity to justify the growing collection but they're fun enough to paint for the sake of it.
A short list...
I wanna start and finish Icestorm. Preferably *all* of my unpainted Infinity.
Get at least one strike team done for all 6 deadzone factions.
Finish at least one of my 2x2' semi-static boards. Either 'Tank Graveyard' or 'Desert Outpost'.
Further flesh out my MA collection (but I'm not ambitious enough to say *all*).
Paint at least a bit from all backed KS projects, and try to cut down on further backed projects

Hmmm, paint up the Circle stuff that I got for Christmas and learn how to play Hordes! There is a fairly decent amount of WM/H players in my area (Oxford), but they meet on a Monday from 6pm and I tend to work til 8pm every Monday.. Although I'm off work tomorrow, so may well pootle along and see what's what.

Other than that, I must save more money for Salute this year. I always promise myself that I'll take £500 but normally only manage around half of that. But with my plans to quit smoking next year (yay vaping!) then I might actually pull it off. If I do then I think I may well start Carnivale as well. The minis really appeal, as does the setting.

We shall see...

Just getting back into wargaming...

1. Get my knack for painting back..
2. Build and paint a modest 2k Eldar force so I can battle. I picked them before looking at stats tactics ability... wraith look badass... Didint want to go space everyone plays marines.. although they be dirt cheap on ebay
3. Get a small HE 1-1.5k points army. A nice regiment of phoenix Guards cant wait to paint those bad boys..
4.Once my painting is up to scratch.... Behold the Carnosaurus into dragon mount conversion... I have always wanted to this...

If Asuryan gods willing I manage to do the above... then I'm going to go for one of the Darklands monster things. dragon or demon type mini.
