On moon miranda.

It's quite amusing when something can only be "cheesy" if there's absolutely no counter to it, ergo nothing can possibly be cheesy (as it's potentially possible to kill anything)

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

Just out of pure interest, what army do you play and what's your regular list?

My lists change all of the time but I play Tau and Tyranids. Generally, my lists are like:

Tau:
3 x 12 man FW squads.
Aun'Va or Commander.
2 x Crisis Suit squads (either dual plasma or missile pods).
1 Riptide with IA.
2 x 5 man Pathfinders.
Long strike.

Tyranids:
Flyrant with 2x TLDWBLW.
2 x 3 man Zoanthropes with Neurothropes.
Living Artillery Node.
1 Dakkafex.
My Gants and Gaunts change all of the time, usually taken in 20 man squads (unless I want a Tervigon as a troop).
Tervigon with cluster spines.

These are just rough lists.

What armies do you play and what are your lists like?

I field:
Warboss
Painboss
Slotless meks
Sometimes a Wierdboy or Mek
30-strong choppa squad
1-2 shoota squads numbering up to 20 sometimes 30
A squad of 'ardboyz in a truck
Grots for leftover points.

9-11 stormboy with a pk bp nob are finding a way in almost every list recently
1-2 min units of rokkit kommandoes

Lots of big gunz - generally lobbas and kmk.

I often experiment with stuff so lists vary.

How many threads are we going to have about "are eldar cheesy/OP?" We had about 10 on this forum in 2014, can we pick a new topic now?

The internet doesn't support independent thought.

This topic is always an actual one until the Serpent's rules will be changed.

Yes, it's a topic that's already been done to death on this forum and every other 40k forum along with Facebook groups and water cooler talk at the FLGS. Everyone is beating a horse that's already been shot multiple times with a lascannon. We know eldar are cheesy, unbalanced and need to be fixed. All the forum posts in the world about it aren't going to make GW re write the codex any sooner. I just don't see the point in discussing this topic over and over.

There are way to many people going on about how "this army is cheesy because I don't know how to fight against it, its made up of to strong units ect." and ill be honest all the negativity is getting rather annoying. The point is that EVERY army has something in it that is very strong (very rarely is anything "cheesy") and that it gives people fits, at this point we should be discussing ways to handle with/deal with said strong lists rather then just complaining about them. Now in regards to Eldar they are a very tough matchup for a lot of armies, thankfully several of my opponents are Eldar players so I have had to learn how to fight against them and going in with an understanding how to deal with the army has done wonders. I will agree they are a very strong army and definitely in my opinion the top tier army in the game, I however refuse to call them cheesy as there are ways to counter them.

What exactly is going to give Eldar fits in the new BA codex? Protip: nothing.

1. Some people still think and say its "fair and balanced" -even underpowered.........and people should "learn to play" etc

2. Its a free world, people can complain about what they want and discuss best ways to sorting it until its sorted and then potentially that the fix is not right.......

3. Might as well not complain about anything that GW makes by that logic? We all do it about something...........

4. Many people would argue Eldar are not cheesy, unbalanced and need to be fixed, but specific units - Wave Serpent in particular are cheesy, unbalanced and need to be fixed.

You can take random units from the Eldar codex and whip most marine lists that don't include a Tiggy grav star or White Scar bikers and ANY BA list. That sounds like an overall problem to me.

I don't feel overall eldar are cheesy. There are key things in their dex we see spammed that are cheesy and need a serious re-write.
