The Frozen North

Hey all, I am in the middle of packing to move by the end of the month and thought I would get a group shot of my tanks as they currently are.

Starting at the back:
3 Hydra flak trucks
Death strike artillery spotting vehicle
4 Medusa siege tanks
Armorcast Baneblade
3 Colossus siege mortars
3 Basilisks
3 Leman Russ Demolishers
2 Leman Russ Executioners
Leman Russ Punisher with Pask
3 Leman Russ Eradicators
2 Leman Russ Vanquishers
Leman Russ Exterminator
3 Thunderer siege tanks
8 Chimeras

Not pictured are a plastic Baneblade, a Verdun pattern Chimera and Leman Russ Executioner, 2 wheeled Chimera conversions, a wheeled Salamander HQ vehicle, 2 old Griffon heavy mortar tanks, 3 various Hellhounds (one old school and 2 conversions), and various other vehicles in various states of disrepair due to a moving disaster a few years back which much of my 40k and modeling supplies got scattered across a road as the person who put it on the trailer did not secure it and I didn't check after they told me it was good to go. Lesson learned.

You say that I am crazy. I say that you are right!

Lesson learned, indeed. Ouch! I think that level of model carnage qualifies for the list of "times a man is allowed to cry," right between "death of dog" and "zipped self in fly."

Unfortunately it does happen. It's happened to me on a much smaller scale several times. I can only imagine how much equipment the IG must lose every campaign to logistics alone lol. The surviving collection resembles my steel legion motorpool lol.

Sweet!! That's an great tank collection, man

Be thankful those are IG tanks, and not DE raiders and ravagers I have no idea what I'd do if we moved. I have told my wife that we are not permitted to move because there is no reasonable way for me to safely move all my models hahahahaha.

Good luck with the move

I do believe my wife would take exception to that...
