I have a game in early February and need to place my order ASAP. My 1000 list is

Crowe
Librarian
5 terms psilencers
Dreadknight Gatling psilencer
5 paladins with nemesis banner, apothecary and psilencer.

My question is what do I add to make it a "one size fits most" list as in non demon enemies. Also the list will be 2k

Something to punch through vehicle armor. With psilencers as your only special weapon, even light vehicles would be a big problem for you.

One good and bad thing about grey knights is one sized fits most is all we got. Dreadknights kill everything and are hard to kill - hence they are taken in abundance. Our main gun is the psycannon - it's also good vs everything as str 7ap4 rending rending with high volume of fire.

typically I run at least 10 terms and 2 dreadknights at any point level. So to order I'd go with 5 - 10 more terms which you can construct as paladins too. Another Dreadknight and probably 10 strike squad marines.
Storm ravens are a nice modle too - tough, well rounded, adds much needed heavy tank killing and can transport purifiers and even a venerable dreadnought at the same time.

If we fail to anticipate the unforeseen or expect the unexpected in a universe of infinite possibilities, we may find ourselves at the mercy of anyone or anything that cannot be programmed, categorized or easily referenced.

No GK list is complete without a Stormraven that fills both the anti-flyer and anti-tank niche GK lists lack in terms of long range firepower.

Might as well think about adding a venerable dreadnought with tl-multimelta and cc-arm (if transported by the stormraven) or tl-lascannon and missile launcher, if deployed on the field for anti-vehicle support.

Yeah the psilencers are for a 1000 game against demons. So you think more terms and purifiers? What about put puragators?

Assuming you are pure GK I just threw a list together:

Lib [ML3, Stave, SB, Domina]

Paladins (5) [Apothecary, Banner, Psilencer, 4x Halberd]

Purifiers (5) [4x Falchions, Incinerator, Lasback]

Terminator (5) [Falchions on Justicar, 3x Halberd, Hammer, Psilencer]

Terminator (5) [Falchions on Justicar, 3x Halberd, Hammer, Psilencer]

Interceptor (5) [4x Falchions, Incinerator]

Storm Raven [Melta, Lascannon]

Dreadknight [Sword, Psycannon, Incinerator, Shunt]

Dreadknight [Sword, Psycannon, Incinerator, Shunt]

ADL [Comms]

Should be bang on 2k.

Turn 1 deepstrike, shunt DKs & ferry the purifiers around with the Storm Raven, use the Lasback as an anti tank platform.

Personally I think the Gatling Psilencer should be taken on the NDK.

Which means you either have to toss your Heavy Psycannon, or Incinerator - I'd lean towards the latter since that weapon is utterly useless unless your GK is 12"-18" away from the enemy.

Chance of ID-ing any MC is too good to pass up, especially if said weapon also does reasonably well as a horde thinner.

And since the psilencer is also a force weapon (when ative) you only need that big nasty to fail one, just one save

Generally GK Terminators outperform PAGK in this day and age; the only power-armoured models this isn't true for are Purifiers. If you're planning to fight non-Daemon enemies I'd suggest Allying in some more effective anti-tank on the off chance you end up fighting a mechanized list; Bike or Drop Pod Space Marines with melta-weapons are easy to use and effective.

Do you have the math to back this up? GKTs are more than 1.5 times as expensive as PAGKs, only have +1 attack in cc and can move and shoot their psycannon, and have a better save by 1 (and a 5++ inv. I guess), but PAGKs are some of the most points worthy MEQ in the game and there are more ranged AP2 weapons out there than AP3.

Actually, the only PA unit GKs should be taking are Interceptors with Incinerators. Effectively mini-NDKs, they Shunt, Jump, and Burn quite handedly.

Heavy Psycannon + Heavy Psilencer on your NDKs are a great counter to Riptides and Broadsides, while Heavy Psycannon + Heavy Incinerator is still excellent versus hordes and open top vehicles (Soul Blaze). A mix of both is a good bet.

GKT out preform both Strikers and Paladins on a points per model basis, and should be your go to Troop choice.

Crowe is still effectively worthless, outside of very niche army builds.

Interceptors are pretty sweet - there's a good chance they will make it into cc and if you get hammerhand off, thats everyone S6.

I'd just like to point out that AP2 also negates 3+ saves, so while it may be true that there are more ranged AP2 weapons than there are AP3... there are more ranged weapons that negate 3+ saves than there are ranged weapons that negate 2+ saves.

And Terminators have the 5+ save vs. AP2 anyways.
