I don't think that will be a problem. The way things usually work, he will make enough from the first printing that the second won't break him, even if it doesn't sell. That being said, it would appear the demand is there.

Interesting that they're doing the Joan model with the new run. Maybe this is CB taking a new approach to limited edition models?

Criticism is fine. He is an artist. He can, or should be able to, take that. The insults, no excuses for them. Not one.

More Jeanne D'Arc minis though? Not a bad move on CB's part, get one of the minis in the hands of painters who might otherwise have never painted a CB mini. I suppose Angel has an arrangement similar to the one CB has with Tabitha the Cosplayer. Her LE mini, she still sells via her store, and apparently can order more from CB.

I wonder how this will affect Miniature Market's arrangement, to sell the books when they get them in?

I pre-re-ordered it from the Warstore so I'd have a book of better painting than I can do to make me sad.

I hope Neil isn't blowing smoke up my butt and really actually can get me a second printing.

Just put my pre-order in as well. Did I see somewhere that Neal handles the overall US distribution for CB? Given the hard pre-order cutoff date and it's still listed as a late-Feb delivery, I'm guessing the presses are already fired up and the number of additional pre-orders by Friday will dictate the size of the print run.

Got my preorder in and bought some MDF vehicles while I was at it. If I dont feel confident painting the fine details of miniatures, I'll just use the painting knowledge on the terrain.

yeah we talked about it up in the N&R

TheWarStore has an affiliated distribution company named e-figures , they are the primary if not the only CB distributor in the US. This is why typically TheWarStore will be able to ship out their preorders faster then others since they are in close proximity to not only their distribution hub, but also the US Customs location the items come in from.

Whew, got one through elementgames. Freaked out when the site crashed but thankfully made it through checkout.

Funny thing is my FLGS isn't even mad, they said they'd be getting more in but they'd be gone nearly instantly anyway like icestorm was.

*squeals like a little girl* Email arrived with notification of shipping, hopefully see it in a few days then.

Ironically, I might not be able to pick up the second book that was put aside for me. Not only is it still not a great time financially to grab the book, but I'm going in for surgery tomorrow and will be recovering for weeks, so I won't have time to grab it.

I seriously hope that the figure will still come with later printings of the book. That new Joan and Fusiliers models have finally convinced me to take the plunge and start playing Infinity.

Well, first time I've been let down by Element Games.

Got my pre-order in for this book as soon as the first run was available to order. Was meant to be shipping today, but at some point over the course of the day, they've now changed their expected date to the end of March !!

Be interested to know if anyone else had ordered through them and have had it sent.

Not sure what's happened, haven't heard anything from them.

What they've done in the past is put items up for pre order then as soon as their allocation has been ordered, they change the item to no longer available. I got in there for the first run before they went unavailable.

Earlier today, my order status was that it was going to ship before end of day, then at some point it changed to end of March.

Can only imagine they either didn't get as many as they thought they were going to, or something's happened with the initial shipment. Bit of a shame they haven't sent an update out yet as I imagine like others, I was quite looking forward to receiving the book.

I've ordered from them but have yet to hear anything..

They did email me to say when N3 was being delayed, so not sure what is going on here?

Just this minute had an update from Element saying there's been a supply shortage and they only received part of their total allocation.

Sounds like some people may be getting them next week, but others will have to wait a while.

It doesn't stipulate whether I ordered early enough or not to get the first batch... guess I will have to wait and fingers crossed!

Our first 500 arrived this afternoon. And about half have been packed so far.

That email took a little while to get my head around.

Basically I'm waiting for an email to let me know if I got my order in early enough in the first printing pre-order. Suddenly, I'm even more grateful that there was a second print run.

Mines been dispatched from Wayland Games.

I ordered mine within an hour of the pre-orders going up though.
