What rulebooks are the Avenger Strike Fighter and Repressor rules located in ?

Avenger, the last I knew of, was in the Areonautica book. It might be reprinted in the Guard 2nd ed book though.

Repressor should be in the Marine IA 2nd ed book as that's where the Sisters stuff was put last I knew.

The 7th Edition Codex pretty much allows a Battle Sister squad able to have 1 speacial weapon and Heavy for 5 models, so in a 20 model squad you can have 4 speacials and 4 heavies?

Repressor is in IA2 Vol.2 (and the only Sister model in there...)

Avenger is in Areonautica but has a new (with errors) version in IA12 - Fall of Orpheus

No, each Squad can only have 1 Special and 1 Heavy. So in a 5-girl Squad you can have 1 Special and 1 Heavy.
In a 20-girl Squad you can have 1 Special and 1 Heavy. If you take 4 Squads of 5 though, then you got it right.

Can you cite evidence that the method chosen works? Did you have a big army of Wyches for DE bought shortly before the Codex hit? Were you fielding 180 Death Company Troops or 6 squads of Assault Marines in LasPlas Razorbacks?

Dark Eldar army made entirely out of Wyches, I mean entirely out of wyches. Even models that weren't techinically wyches were made with wych models.

Blood Angels army with 12 troop choices of Assault Marines, painstakingly converted from monopose tactical marines.

My old SoB army is up on ebay right now. I recognize the Canoness conversion (banner in hand) and Celestines' wings/flaming sword.

I'd actually like those two pieces back...so if anyone wants to buy the army, I'd buy those two bits from ya

Metal models are pretty easy to cast to order in small amounts

Anyone have ideas for a 2,000 point list without Forge World models ?

Also, after looking into the Avenger, it occured to me it would be cheaper, easier, as well as more thematically appropriate, for GW to give Apedta Sororitas Valkyries, instead of Avengers, in the next codex

I really really want to see this happen now, but if that model is "temporarily unavailable", buy a different SOB model. I want to see a ton of "temporarily unavailable" on the SOB page just because they've sold a ton.

They still make quite a few metal models...I dunno about SOB models though...

They ran out of the metal WE models in WHFB last summer for quite a while when their new codex dropped. I think was the wardancers?

I just bought the regimental advisors for IG for my finance's birthday last week (which are metal)...they can't have that many backlogged, you think?

Why more thematically appropriate? The Avenger has a giant bolter on it and is a gunship, which the Sisters actually need.

As for a 2k list without Forge World, have two!

The second one is a bit of a gamble, since most of the killing power is in two fragile squads, but never under-estimate just how hard a battle conclave of 20-strong Sisters blob can hit when supported by Priests and the Sacred Standard!

I would think they do actually.... I highly doubt new metal is casted and thet they are just clearing stock. 50/50 chance right or wrong though.... just a hunch not known information...

As for the "let's all buy on 1 day", if given a specific time/day all orders should be placed before the website can be updated to "Out of Stock". This might cause trouble and a 20% chance of actually getting the model, but it would be a message

The main reason for the idea is that i know 2-3 Sisters players in my area, and from the posts on here: Quite a few SoB players have full armies and don't need to buy anything else.
Doing the "all buy" gets all these players to say "hey, I don't buy anything but i still want attention".... (by buying at least this 1 model)
