I saw nothing saying there couldn't be. What is the verdict?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

It is. He can be seen on the right side of THIS PIC of the Dark Vengeance contents.

Another question. Can you have two librarians in the same game?

Lol this really confused me for a moment. Thread change.
Unless its a named character with the "unique" unit type, then yeh you can. You can have 3. Hell, take 6.
This is assuming they follow the same rules as farseers/weirdboys/etc. Far as I know theyre just a HQ choice, so you can take as many as you have slots for. Or as many as you want if you go unbound.

You can take 2 with your CAD and another in your allied detachment. Most people won't play against unbound and most leagues/tournies don't allow it so I would advise against planning your army around a giant librarian squad. 3 should be plenty. If you take Tigurius and 2 lvl2 librarians you shouldn't have much trouble in the psychic phase.

I once ran a game with 8 librarians in an apocalypse match it was extremely funny. They were a titan killing squad.

Yeah, there is no reason why you could not run 2 Libbies, except for unique status.
Side note: My buddy and I recently played an apoc game where we each took 23 chapter masters each ... we ended up on opposite teams and his team got a stratagem that allowed all one shot weapons to be reloaded ... he got 46 orbital bombardments, it was actually quite funny.

Now, we like big books. (And we cannot lie. You other readers can’t deny, a book flops open with an itty-bitty font, and a map that’s in your face, you get—sorry! Sorry!) |

You can't have an Allied Detachment the same faction as your primary. So to get a 3rd Libby you'd have to take a different type of detachment. You could take the Libby Formation for DAs as this looks like a DA thread. Or just take multiple CADs.
What evidence do you have that "Most people won't play against unbound" in my area the vast majority do play against unbound. Some people play by their own houserules people in your area might play by those houserules but there is no strong evidence that your houserules are so heavily wide spread. Yes most Tournaments don't allow unbound but most tournaments aren't playing 7th Ed they are playing 6.5 Ed WarhammerwhawhawhamynetlistmightnolongerbestrongestinthemetaandnewpowerlistsmightexistsoilltrytoFAQitallbackto6thbowl

Space Marines are the exception to this rule.

I prefer to think of DA as Loyalist Heretics (aka, Republicans).
As to multiple Librarians, quite a few GK players take 3-4 Librarians via 1-2 Nemesis Strike Formations. They are our best HQ, after all.

Seems like a simple question, of course you can have two librarians.
However just to be awkward, the latest Horus Heresy FAQ says that Legion librarians cannot be compulsory HQ choices. So you can never be too careful.
( Ignore if you don't play Horus Heresy games)

There is a special rule called "Unique" - if a model has this rule, you may only take one, no matter how big the game or how many detachments are involved.
If it doesn't, go nuts - you can take an unbound army consisting of nothing else if you were so inclined.
