So I saw home depot had these organizers on sale for rather cheap, and thought I might as well pick up a pair for some of my armies. Well I came home, put some of my marines in it, then immediately went back to the store and bought 4 more packs. They're super reasonably priced, the smaller cubbies are about as tall as a terminator holding a thunderhammer up, and some of the larger cubbies are good for slightly bigger (though not much taller) models. I sorted all of my infantry, and since I play some Warmachine, managed to fit all of that in them too. A whole combat squad (5 marines) will fit standing up in the smaller cubbies. They also slide and stack together, so you can carry three at once.

Anyway, you guys should grab some while they're on sale for ten dollars for two. Apologies if this is the wrong forum for such things.

Aww, american company, what use is that for civilised people!

Good find though, I recently got a couple smaller versions that are similar, I'm yet to properly use them though.

That's alright, but it's not too far from a tackle box really. The best DIY kit I've ever seen, and have now done myself, is the magnetized army in a layered plastic ornament case. Two layers, lots of space, and I can flip it upside down with miniatures in it. UPSIDE DOWN. Including magnets the whole thing runs around $30.

I use a similar Plano box for my Star Trek Attack Wing minis, but 40k requires too many models for such cases.

You can fit 85 std troops (standing) on bases per case. You get 2 cases for 10$. They link together so you can carry both with 1 hand. Unless you're running a hoard army, I don't think you'll be rocking 150+ minis for a normal game..but maybe you are

I got all my troops into 1.5 of the cases, plenty of room for other bits. I thought I could squeeze my Valkyries (sans wings, which are mag) but they're a tad too tall. No worries.
