So I'm not sure if anybody else had really paid attention to this over the last month.

About two weeks ago Champions of Fenris - A Codex: Space Wolves supplement became "No longer available" on the US website.

Today, Codex: Militarum Tempestus, is "No longer available" on the US website. as well.

It's looking like when Apocalypse Warzone: Damocles became "No longer available" last year, a whopping month or two after it released was a sign of things to come.

It's looking like you can only get these books now if you want to go over to the black library and get them electronically, or if you want to go and attempt to hunt down a copy elsewhere.

I have no idea if GW plans on doing any sort of softcopy release, for any of these.

Damocles hasn't been available since like May of last year.

I do not work for GW in any fashion. When I edit my post, either I've misspelled something, punctuation, or I'm fixing swearing. Oops.

Can you still buy the DE - Haemonculus Covens supplement in the US? It is gone for at least two months in Europe...

It's still available here.

From what I've been told, they're starting to do softback replacements for books that have gone out of stock. Tomb Kings recently released in softcover for $37.

Shhh that's not been made public yet, it's all unfounded rumors on that scary place called the Interwebz. WHFB is going to be fine, I'm sure.

Only a matter of time. I figured limited print run would be the new normal so a $35 ebook looks sane.

It's really annoying seeing people treat this as fact rather than rumor at this point.

Especially considering the sheer number of units which are relatively new plastic kits that are going to be invalidated.

Even if the 'End Times' finishes with Karl Franz mashing the reset button it's pretty clear 9th edition is coming. So why buy a 7th/8th edition rulebook at all?

Because, as you should well know by now, the advent of a new edition does not necessarily invalidate army books.

Yes but it affects them, and there are always 2-4 new ones that come out pretty quickly and IIRC Tomb Kings is a bit long in the tooth.

Maybe the fact they're reprinting it means it will be around for a while.

Or that they don't know what they're doing.
