Ive seen some talk about those who want the book and not the model and want the model and not the book in both threads we have going that are talking about it.

So I wanted to start a thread so those of you in either situation can offer up your unwanted item to fellow members here on Dakka, you set the price/trade value and I will do my best to kind to keep the OP updated.

You can of course use the swap shop, I just figured you might get more hits in an area with the intended audience.

So with the book quickly selling out everywhere I do implore you if you are not interested in the model or book to offer it up for those that are. Angel personally funded this book and there will not (likely) be reprinted.

In my area, I think I'm the only player who wants neither.

This is a good idea. Angel won't be re-printing, but just maybe he will release his book as an ebook or kindle book. Amazon has some sort of arrangement for self-publishing authors, don't they?

I would be interested in the model if anyone has one for sale

I'll add my list to the "wants model" category, even if it may be unlikely at this point.

I'm miffed that it's sold out before it's even gone up for pre-release orders.

Talked to The War Store and they said they "estimated" the amount they would be getting, and took pre pre release orders for that many. Local hobby store said it's already sold out at the distributor level... and I'm like "Wait a second. The book hasn't even gone on sale or pre-release yet and it's sold out? How does THAT work?"

I want the book and the miniature would be a nice bonus. I just hope it's not going to end up on someone's book shelf and never used, or that it's being bought only for the miniature and the book will just get tossed in a corner somewhere.

I wanted the book and was so so about the model sadly I don't think I'm gonna be able to get hold of either.

Indeed you are correct, and maybe a few FLGS underestimated their stock, so I would keep both eyes out for a copy. If I happen to notice any stores with stock tomorrow I will post them in the deal finder topic.

CB themselves suffered site crashes and a non-working order button, sold out in 30 seconds (According to their FB page). Rather irritated as I was refreshing constantly on the site every few minutes since mid-day CET.

I really just want the model, but on ebay it'll be going for absurd prices no doubt.

I just want the book, but I'm not paying more than retail for it.

I hedged and pre-ordered from both Element and Wayland 10 days ago - both took the money and neither have sent any emails saying they over-sold their allocation, so I'm happy to volunteer 1 book and 1 model at cost to this exchange program.

This assumes both orders actually turn up, I do want a book and model myself, if I only get one order I'm keeping it

The only thing perhaps I'd have for any kind of trade is the Bounty Hunter from the 3rd Ed rulebook, not gonna take him outta the packaging any time soon.

I'm interested in the book. Happy to pay retail value for it.
