Taking Rubrics is pretty wacky and terrible in the first place, so that'd be the first place to start.

Already ordered Ahriman and 4 conversion packs earlier today.

Use the fanmade codex from 1d4chan?

You don't have to be happy when you lose, just don't make winning the condition of your happiness.

Run them with a few Tzeentch Daemon allies and summon only Screamers. Drown your foe in manta rays.

Honestly the range isn't quite big enough for there to be silly ways to run Thousand Sons.

Running Thousand Sons is already silly. Learning to win with them is the wacky part.

That's easy. Minimal actual TSons and fill the rest of the list with Tzeentch Daemons.

Balanced Game: Noun. A game in which all options and choices are worth using.

That's not really wacky. :/

I was more looking at about 1500 points of TSons and 500 points of Daemons. Considering how nasty the daemon summoning can get it's not like I'd NEED more than that.

Horde Legion
Imperial Fist consul
6x20 man tactical squads all with Bolters and Fury of the Legion.
3x10 Heavy Support with Heavy Bolters
You might still have points left over in 2k to have something else.

If you dont short hand your list, Im not reading it.
Example: Assault Intercessors- x5 -Thunder hammer and plasma pistol on sgt.
or Assault Terminators 3xTH/SS, 2xLCs
For the love of God, GW, get rid of reroll mechanics. ALL OF THEM!

As I said in the Sicaran thread....

Take the Realspace Raiders detachment. Take the obligatory Archon HQ and minimum squads of Kabalites, each with their own Raider dedicated transport. Then proceed to fill out the rest of your army with as many Raiders as you can buy, and fit every raider with a shock prow.

Even though it was "official" so not really wacky, my Kroot Merc army was fun back during 4th edition. Make sure to bring lots of dice for the gulag of all close combat phases, when every foot soldier (other than Kroot Hounds and a couple of specialist units) in the army has at least 3 attacks on the charge and they come in squads of up to 20.
