Maybe it's just me, but actually I think that a giant llama would work best as a squigoth conversion.

Sorry for the dark pictures! I've primed the Squiggoth and painted it with Rhinox Hide.

Any ideas on how I should paint the skin? I'm thinking a dark green?

So I've made a Kannon/Lobba, plus a crewman.

I'd go with dark green, but elephant grey could work too (after all, they're non-green Orks, so perhaps their Squiggoths aren't green either

KHORNE DAEMONKIN

Some of you might not know that I also collect Chaos Marines. After going to my FLGS and seeing 2 other people having Daemonkin, I thought eh, what the gak, why can't I have them?
I want to have a Daemon-themed Daemonkin army. Even though my favourite god is Nurgle, and Nurgle Daemonkin might come out soon, I just love Khorne so much!
So, what do I currently have? Well...

That's all I have. Now, what will I need? Obviously some Bloodletters. I'm thinking of a colour scheme, how about pale Bloodletters? Say Khorne Red (duh) with Rakarth Flesh as a highlight? I don't know, I'll have to pick up a box soon. And a codex. I'll need a codex.
I don't want to spam Marines as troops, because I don't like MEQ that much.

My HQ guy, kitbashed from Vrosh Tattersoul. Is this paint scheme good?

Pale Bloodletters sound really cool, maybe you could try Rakarth Flesh with a red wash?

Also, your Chaos Marine looks pretty cool, some more pics would be nice tho

The colour scheme reminds me a bit of the Night Lords

Looks pretty good, I think it would work well on Bloodletters

(I would test it on one model first though, before you paint the lot of them and then realize it doesn't look as good as anticipated

Yeah, that's probably a good idea. I'll be ordering some Ork stuff this weekend, and I'll get a box of Bloodletters just to test paint.

That looks like some kind of Tau model. Have you secretly converted to the greater good? Yay, come brother, join those of us who have been enlightened, discard those silly close combat addicts and don an awesome mech suit with loads of oversized guns. Clearly the way to go.

Guys, come on, I really need a paint scheme. I've got a few ideas:

1: Iceletter. I've seen someone who did this exact thing on some other forum. I paint the whole thing a dark blue, make the sword look like ice, and give him a snow base.
2: Metallic. Painting them gold/bronze all over. Might look fancy.

Love how these look. Any idea what paints were used?

Same with this guy. Maybe he's from the same squad...

Or I could go with my original plan: Paint the whole thing Khorne Red, and highlight with Rakarth Flesh. Or paint it black and highlight with red? gasp
I'm liking this tutorial. Maybe I'll go this route, and work some more reds in? I want all Bloodletters to look unique...

I personally think doing Rakarth Flesh - Reikland Fleshshade - Drybrush Rakarth Flesh - Drakenhof Nightshade - Rakarth Flesh (Highlight) - Metal stuff (Making the swords look like glowing lava?) - Red Tongue.

Great stuff though, i did a khornate ork project a ways back and had loads of fun with it. Looks like youre running them as actual orks right? Sorry if i missed it.
