GW is scared of girls. Why do you think they have so much trouble sculpting attractive female models? Because girls have cooties and the staff at GW don't like looking at them for too long because it makes them feel funny in their naughty place.

Currently seems a no, but GW keep going back and forth on allowing this one.

The way it reads to me between the main rule book and the new codex, I say no.

It would appear as a Disembark only, which wouldn't really NOT make sense.

Night Scythes don't have the Hover type. Without Hovering, a Transport cannot alow people to embark (a per embarking on vehicles and zooming flyers rules). So no, you cannot go back to a Night Scythe

What about beaming other units up and probing them?

There are no rules regarding that. The only way to enter a Transport Flyer is if it's hovering. Zooming stuff doesn't allow embarking.

Necrons aren't Grey, so they won't go beaming people around... only gaussing, particling and teslaing them.

Long story short: no.

The second-last FAQ used to make an exception, but since the option has been removed, you may no longer re-embark on a Night Scythe.

As soon as FAQ hits this will probably be corrected. No point in transport that you can't re-embark.

Probably same goes to this damn Spyder and Harvest debacle. They really need to have those two issues covered soon.

Why would it, given throughout 7th you did only disembark

They're called invasion beams, not invasion spans excursion beams.

I like where this thread is going.

As for disembarking only, I have rarely re-embarked a Unit that got out of a Transport... The rare few times being when they took the Relic...
I do not see it as a downside. If you want to go somewhere, just use the monolith portal

In 6th, I'd agree. But as more and more maelstrom or tourney specific modified maelstrom missions seep into regular play, I find myself often having troops hop back into a DT and go speeding off to capture the next flag(s) or trying to at least get in better position to score VP next turn(s). For this reason, I see Rhinos having a bit of Renaissance in some SM lists.
