Saul looks awesome, they all do, but the pop of colour on Saul is really nice indeed

Do you mind sharing your recipe for that purple?
It's the perfect dark, rich purple I've been after for my Corpse-worshipers.

Thanks for the praise, although I think your interest in the purple is actually enhanced by the photo.

I only use Xereus Purple as the first layer on the complete model. After adding the other colors (mostly metal) I do a complete wash with Nuln Oil and after that I add a second layer of Xereus purple on the armor surfaces.
For highlighting I use Genestealer Purple and a mix of Genestealer Purple and White for the edges. So nothing special there .. I just use what is available.

and here is Fulgrim ... I know that even myself want to have helmet options for primarchs, but if you succeed to paint a face well it adds so much character to a model. In this case, I am extremely happy with the paint job on the head and face ...

Yeah, the command sword was just perfect because there is no better representation of a broadsword available.

I knew somebody would say that Perhaps my recent work of Konrad Curze will please you more ... this was the first time I used blood both on his victims and his claws.

Overall, thanks to everyone in here enjoying my work. I have to improve my photographic skills to get a better presentation of the miniatures.

Very nice Morty you've got yourself here mate.

As a fellow working on Death Guard , it seems a bit too clean for my taste, or their lore really. At least a bit of dust on the legs and the lower part of the cape might help, but i guess it's all done and you love it the way it is.

Congrats!

I really like it pal, very nice work. What's your white technique?

Thanks again. This clean painting is just my style ... just not a fan of weathering. Still, with my DG I really tried to let it look a little dirtier overall by using the dry-brush extensively. That also helps because painting surfaces with light gray or white is not easy IMO.

As already hinted above it was dry-brushing. I coated the models with Nurgle Green, then washed them with Seraphim Sepia. After that its dry-brushing with lighter grey colors. That at least looks dirtier than my usual work with other Legions. After dry-brushing I used White Scar to accentuate some highlights ... that's mainly it.

You show amazing precision in your work. The faces show this the best - really nice.

I am not a big fan of weathering per se but but you might want to explore shading the armour pieces themselves a bit more (shadows). You know what you are doing so this may be a style choice on your part.

Thanks for sharing your work.

Thanks for praise and critique. Your are right that more shadowing would be an improvement ... I do not know about different techniques to accomplish that, but I guess it involves a lot of color mixing to achieve the slight color variations. Considering how long it takes for me to paint one model already, I just do not know if I want to extend that even further.

Typhon and dead guard is very nice. Great work on the white armours...More shadows would be really better (Beckmoor ), but is ok for the gaming quality paintings, I would say,not to mention the fact that many aspects Your painting goes beyond gaming guality. (Sorry for bad English)

Again regarding shadowing ... I fear this old dog will not learn much more tricks.

Continuing the show with some Iron Hands ... black suits my painting style. For the IH I went with a more metallic black (compared to the deep black of the Sons of Horus).

Starting with the Primarch Ferrus Manus ...

The Iron Father ... I used the Typhon base for him because it seemed more fitting.

And some Medusan Immortals

The more i look at your Death Guard, the better it looks, feel like my previous criticism wasn't well thought...

Also, amazing work on Ferrus Manus and his Immortals! Could you share your black painting techniques, or is it simply a light metallic drybrush on top of black?

And yeah, not a bad idea at all to switch bases for the tech father, looks like he was meant to sit on that base and FW mixed them up.
