In 28mm it looks more like a fighter, or shuttle, but it still might work, especially for INFINITY.

The valkyrie power suit is roughly the same size as a GW 28mm figure.

Here are some measurements:

I feel like the only possible issue I'd have with scale is the front cockpit, so I've been thinking about that... everything else would work pretty darn good at 28mm given how small flyers tend to be (such as a storm talon).

Is there any way they could take some more comparison shots with a 28mm mini?

With that 28mm miniature i am suddenly interested in this model, i have a vision of a high tech dropship used to put down a nomad crack unit

Is that a tank it's holding underneath it? Is that a variant to the kit? Be nice if it had a cargo pod drop element to be the retrieval unit once an objective is secured.

The Cargo section is designed to be magnetized so you can swap roles. There is a 'hatch' behind the cockpit large enough for a 28mm mini to access the cockpit - you could paint the 'glass' as armoured panels. Don't do GW anymore so can't take comparison pics but the dropship would be better suited to realistically proportioned 28mm miniatures like The Hasslefree sci-fi trooper shown in the pic or the aforementioned Infinity figures

It looks like the seating is separate pieces,..... That might just work really well.

You can see from the painted pics above that the interior can be done without the seating,... And here you can see some of the pieces:

Jimbo is planning to take some more pics today with 28mm minis; most likely Infinity since he just started that recently also.

I've seen and held the prototype, since I'm local to Jimbo. It's a nice piece of kit. I'm already on board for one

As far as cockpit/pilot area, you could paint the large armored panel directly overhead as armored glass to extend the look of the cockpit area. You could always explain it as a drone piloted vehicle (with sensors in the front) or alternative pilot arrangement than a seat.

This looks like it will be a perfect 4/6 man Spec-Ops deployment vehicle (like a Little Bird) in future war games.

That's a pretty good idea. The ship is a clever design as there aren't many bits on it that throw off scale in either 15mm or 28mm,

Great to see this has already reached the stretch goal target, some really nice designs (and that dropship is as sexy as hell!)

Can see this being really popular with Gruntz, Hammers Slammers, Tomorrow's War and other 15mm games.

You can probably get away with the scale for 28mm as well with that one design, certainly for Infinity where you can imagine the aesthetic being just right for Aleph perhaps.

Currently $7,2xx, first stretch goal is missile pods that sit under the front winglets at $7,500.

Well we're at $9,471, but they sent out an update saying the commando was unlocked ($9,500 stretch). I guess someone lowered afterwards. Still not bad that were that close and only a couple days in. Also in the comment section he mentions that the rear ramp is 1" tall by 1 and 2/8" wide (guess that's 1 and 1/4" it was 4am when he posted).

I see this more as a light personnel transport for infinity than a troop dropship. Think of it as a small helicopter with more speed. I could see a scenario where one side is escorting a civilian or informant/hostage to the craft and the other needs to retrieve that person.

Might work as a cool way of dropping off TAGs or objectives for Infinity.

Hmm. May have to pick one up.

Really nice model, I like it a lot, particularly the customization.

It'd look smashing as an UCM transport for Dropzone Commander!

If the rear opening is not enough for you, just imagine that the top portion between the engine nacelles clamshells up if need be.

There are rules for dropships in the N3 book. You can use them with opponent permission, or if you want to throw a scenario together to try out (HVT/VIP escort or extraction). Use the Cargo version as a TAG drop/recovery vehicle!

Over $10k now, so not joy free missile pods, but a free mini as well. Half way to the angel of death which is just larger than a Tag unit.

I actually like their game quite a bit. at the moment it is really just a regional Beta here in Houston. It's very fast paced and seems very much like a RTS computer game, as you earn command points by holding objectives; then buy new units to add to the game,....

its fast paced and brutal casualty-wise,...

but you just keep pumping more and more units onto the table,.... I'm sure that they have other modes, but this was a lot of fun, and the resin models are top-notch!
