I'll double check but from what I recall it's immediate, not delayed.

And wholly friggin do that ONE batrep failed to kill one with the worst Stormraven. I've played Crons and I stand by my points. The Swarm isn't as unbreakable as people claim and there are ways to kill the Spyder.

I would agree with this. It is still a new codex and we will not know what works and doesn't work until a proper sample size can be gathered. It was an amazing feet but how much can it depend on it is a whole other matter.

There is a serious fallacy I've seen on the internet of "well it worked in a batrep" or "because it was in a batrep that means it's always true". It's a horrible mindset to get stuck on and creates serious holes in people's tactics because they assume that just because it did/didn't work in a batrep (played by someone else who may have a different way to play than they do) that it must ALWAYS play out that way.
