So after lurking hard here for about a year I have been inspired to dig out my very badly put together and wackily painted assortment of models from way back when I first discovered the hobby. These updates will be little more an excuse to push me to get though the huuuge back log of unpainted models so I may feel less guilty about spending money on new sexy models!
As these models were collected in classic the 10 year old ADHD plastic crack manner there was no easy army choice to make. In the end I went with Chaos Space marines as I decided that I could rock some seriously different cultists depending on a few added guns and circular bases here and there. Thus a Word Bearers force was born, or more accurately hacked from the claws of the warp and pushed under my inexperienced paint brush.

What follows is a badly lit and potato filled selection of pictures of my painting since Xmas this year.

Hmmm newb posting skills strike hard. I'll have another attempt when I am back in front of a computer later. Cheers for the feedback! Yep there will indeed be a squad picture this weekend sometime.

So the joys of uni have been keeping me taking pictures but there has been lots of painting going on and a few battles in a semi competitive escalation league. I have gone from leading to losing the league but with heavily cheesey Eldar and Necron opposition I am not too fussed about it. Here is my WIP for the Space Marine painting challenge for March. Looking forward to finishing this guy soon.

Just a teaser of the models that are nearing some sort of completion. I am using a sprinkling of models with all sorts of histories but yer there will be some Urak hai in there too. The berserkers make good khorney cultists though yer.

The monowheel rider is AWESOME!
