Got an order confirmation saying my cases should be despatched yesterday. Guess I didnt balls my order up then, hooray

yep no worries, small correction on the fill to give you more trays, but all good. Due to us being 2 days behind on our normal next day dispatch plan we upgraded you (and other people too) to UPS, you should get it tomorrow in time for Easter!

Mine turned up today also upgraded to ups. Perfect timing so I can take my necrons out my AL4 and sort out this new foam for my ogres I'll be playing over the next wee while.

Have you any idea if the Harlequins trays will be ready in time for this offer? I'm in no rush, though.

Skinnereal - just posted this on FB re Harlequins - "we had hoped they would drop nicely into some current Eladr/Dark Eldar trays (eg the Venom), but we are not that happy with the fit and so will make new versions for them, it does mean it will be end May based on current timing but they will be worth it,

Do you guys have new trays for 32mm space marines, or is there a tray you would recommend? I sadly bought a case before the switcheroo that contained, among other things, four 25mm space marine trays for my future army and now it's useless :/

yes we sure do - the SM58 holds 20, and the SM61 holds 25, take you pic depending on your models. These are all 32mm deep trays, but you can consider the 23mm versions (SM57 and SM60) as the KR foam is nice and soft and protective as you know.
You could still use the trays you have for another army, or remove a wall and use for some HQ figures potentially,

Cases came yesterday, well packed and intact. One complaint, and its not to do with KR. The postie gave the box to our neighbours but didnt leave a card, it was only because our neighbours were honest * and took it round that I knew it had arrived.

*and the fact that theyre "normals" and wouldnt know a good mini case if they were hit with one

Just placed my order. I’m mildly worried that the free tray is listed as “KRM-F” rather then KRX-F” but I assume that it’s just they way the free tray is listed in the system.

Nevelon - No need to worry, we elected it as "KRM-F" so that it was easier for us to cover the 3 possible variants of free case in one. Good call re getting the accessory case too. Note that due to Easter we are closed and will be processing again from Tuesday, and also as per previous postings on here and on our Facebook page, due to the higher than anticipated demand we are running around 3 days behind our usual next day order dispatch, so yours will head out around Thursday/Friday next week. It will be upgraded to UPS to make up for the short delay,

I'm interested in the new big ass cases. I have a lot of X-Wing to store, though B-Wing style ship trays seem to be like gold dust. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. Does the new KRD fit in any existing bags just to make it easy to carry?

There was some discussion about the backpack upthread, where it has a divider so can’t hold the big new boxes. But the Kaisers should be fine. When I asked about fitting two of the KRX’s into my Kaiser 3, I got this response:

MasterLowPoke - yes stack that on one side of the KRX (we will add a space pad to fill the extra few mm of space) and have another stack of trays next to it.

Nevelon - spot on re the way the card cases fit in the Kaisers. To complete the story, two of the KRH (half size) takes the space of 1 KRM, and four of the KRQ (quarter size) likewise - just add up the numbers.

And maybe one day we will make Easter Egg trays, but in the meantime take a look at our testing video from quite a few years ago, if you have not seem it before it will make you smile

Well if 2 KRDs fit in a Kaiser 4 bag that would go nicely with my backpack for carting stuff around.

I have a question - I've been looking at the cases sold by KR (and I must admit they do look good).

I'm having trouble selecting appropriate trays for my army. I have a couple of SAGA armies and I want to home my Normans. They're based on GW bike bases (the elongated ones with rounded ends) but these appear too big for the dimensions for cavalry on the trays.

Is there a tray that can home 15+ GW bike bases that are are tall as SAGA Cavalry?

Update on the KRX, KRD, KRX launch offer:

Question: If I order the back pack or Keiser case filled with these cards, does the deal apply still
IE: If I get a double backpack with a double card case inside, does that entitle me to another double case.

I was looking to get a double back pack and/or the keiser case as well but can get them later if the deal does work with them.

With the KRQ, I'm trying to figure out how to fill it...but the website will not allow anything. Will I be required to put something like "2xN4H" in the order comment section to get it filled? Will this be considered a custom order or just a regular core set?

Makaleth - The launch offer is only on the KRD, KRX and KRQ cases. It is not on the Kaisers.

Ehsteve - Yes you can write any tray details in the freeform field. "2x N4H" is a good example as you say. They are core trays, custom trays are trays manufactured specifically for certain models.

I tried sending this questions by email, but maybe I'll have better luck here: can you do custom cases for models that are not listed on your website? For example, if I wanted custom foam for an IG Thunderbolt or Marauder Destroyer would it be possible to make it? If so, how much would it cost?

I asked about the Harlequins custom trays earlier.
Something that might help with them is that Eldar Jetbikes are going to be a big thing from now on, and the new models look to be the same size as the Harli versions.
I'm guessing the Eldar Vypers will get a new model too, and the Harlequins had a similar vehicle released for them.

Not trying to hurry the trays along or anything ...

I doubt they can do you a custom job, they make specific templates for multiple use which cost loads. They might be planning to make one anyway though.

Is pick and pluck not good enough?

They at least used to offer a service where you could send them the model in question and they'd cut custom foam for it.
