News from PSC HQ:-

Here's another chance to play the innovative and exciting Battlegroup rules system with its author Warwick Kinrade in an impressive themed campaign weekend.

Refight in 20mm (1/72nd) the the road to Lokhvitsa in the epic encirclement of Kiev during the Barbarossa campaign on the eastern front in 1941. 15 German players will clash with 15 Russian players over the weekend of 31st October/1st November, striving for campaign points to take their team to ultimate victory and the individual honour of most campaign points for their team.

The event will be held at the superb facilities of the Midlands Wargames Centre at Stafford Games in Stafford - easily accessable to all. Tickets available from Plastic Soldier Company priced £12 (including buffet lunch on saturday). Go to the Plastic Soldier Company webstore, www.theplasticsoldiercompany.co.uk, and purchase your German or Russian ticket in the Battlegroup Kursk section. There are only 15 places each side so don't delay - first come first served! Each player brings 2 x 450 point battlegroups (they can be the same) - one for each day. German players can field Roumanian, Hungarian or Slovak battlegroups. All models must be painted and no substitutes! 2 games will be played on saturday and one on sunday. Starts 9.30 am saturday and ends approximately 1.30 pm sunday. An informal get together will be arranged saturday night in a local pub.

If you have never played Battlegroup Kursk, anyone is welcome to drop by and take a look and chat to Warwick. Will Townshend from Plastic Soldier Company will also be there - he is quite happy to have his ear bent about what you would like to see in plastic in the future!
