Would be more excited about some single-player DLC to be honest. The Mount Chiliad mystery needs solving once and for all. Can't believe I completed it 100% and all I got was a t-shirt.
My current one is a 4 year old laptop, which while it was great when I bought it, is now struggling to play at reasonable framerates or resolution on new titles.
I enjoyed the console version, but damn if I'm not excited to enjoy it in glorious 60FPS in high res.

I think my twin TITANS can handle it, but it comes down to whether Rockstar used all this time in delay to make it work properly on PC's, or whether it's another GTAIV, which I skipped.

I never did finish GTA IV, but I will eventually and will eventually get GTA V, as well.
I have to upgrade my PC this year anyway. I barely meet the minimum requirements for The Witcher 3.

Question to you all, are you planning on using mouse/keyboard for everything, including driving and flying?
I'm a fairly recent PC convert who in the last year has finally come to enjoy mouse and keyboard movement and shooting. However, I'd be lying if I said the xbox controller and GTAV's helicopter controls aren't pretty fething slick together. It'd also be frustrating to switch back and forth constantly, and I'm loathe to spend all my time shooting on a controller.

For me, it'll totally depend on how they do the PC based controls. I have an xbox PC controller so will see how it plays.
I definitely prefer key/mouse combo though for nearly all other games.
GTAVC and SA were more than playable with k/m combo back in the day.

Yeah, I suppose I'll have to see what the default layout is for flying, and maybe see if tweaking it could work, but damn, helo flying on the controller was really well done.
Now I have to do sit down and price out what I want for my rig.

I was looking forward to it for ages, then the constant delays just drove my excitement down. I'll now wait to pick it up on sale in the summer, I see no reason to pay £40 for a PC game.
Oh, and keyboard/mouse for driving. I couldn't believe how much easier it was than a pad when I switched.

The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.”

It's crossed my mind. During the long drought years, where my PC could barely run an 8-bit game and I had to rely on a PS3 to play all the games I was missing, I got used to playing open world games with a controller.
I'll say this:
If the aim controls for GTAV are as spot on as they were in Red Dead, then I'll use a controller. If not, mouse/keyboard.
I'm definitely looking forward to the release, but I'm properly not going to get it until the end of summer, or possibly not until next year. I currently only have a laptop available me, and that struggles on almost any game that isn't at least a few years old, so I'm probably going to save some more money up and buy a PC (or possibly build it as I am going to a tech school).

Initial reviews I've read have people playing smooth 60FPS at 1080p running on 970's and i5's.
Seems pretty reasonable.
I'll likely end up waiting for the first steam sale/discount post release, and by then I'll hopefully have a better shrine to handle it.
*Edit* And as for my earlier concern about M+K/Controller, apparently is allows for quick and easy, if not simultaneous use of either. So far sounds like a solid port. I'll wait for the bugs to be found and patched out though.

Im running keyboard mouse atm but will try a joypad tonight.

I have to say I am quite impressed with the transition to PC. Really well optimized port! i7 and GTX 980 run it at 60-80 FPS at max detail, while GTA IV is still pissing around in the 50s.
