18 minutes total download time
That was about the best part of it for me so far.
My god, how fast is your connection?
500Mb/s
I did the math on it, and it is actually faster to download something than copy it from USB
That's pretty awesome. I'm stuck with DSL at home, and even my school connection is a 1mb/s download speed (and I go to a tech school).

I'm pretty sure you can do it with the Xbone and PS4, not sure about 360.

And then a 300mb patch after that!
Finally got to playing it. The way it transitions between keyboard/mouse and controller is great, but driving is the same as every other Rockstar game - like driving a big heavy car with another bigger, heavier car strapped to the roof.

how is GTA 5 Graphics wise? do i need a super computer to have it look as nice as the PS4?
i'm currently running an AMD fx 8120 8 core processor, 16 gigs of ram with an Nvidia GTX 560 with 2 gigs of ram on it.
I can run World of Tanks and Planetside 2 on max settings, it just makes my PC heat up like a shuttle on re-entry.
I refuse to play my 360 version anymore because the next gen version looks so much better. I think this might be my first Steambox purchase though.

Be thankful it runs, I am now stuck at the social club launch page, and cannot get into the game at all.
E: deathklaat, your system sounds fine for medium/high settings easily

I love the cars, each has its own distinctiveness. The sports cars and the high performance cars are so fast, but they are also really hairy driving at high speeds....I found the raceway as well, and got into that, driving my car at top speed around it.
pity you have to impound your car to get it back after that.

Let me put it this way: It is a surprisingly good PC port compared to the atrocity that was the GTA IV port (even the current 970/980 cards can only run it around 45-55 something FPS while GTA V is respectively run at 20 extra FPS over that.

IIRC, that's a graphics processor issue, essentially the game is detecting another form of graphics processor (like on your motherboard) and has gone "Nope! Ain't havin' nun'a dat!", and won't load. You'll need to disable it so it can see your actual graphics cards.
Or it might now be. Check here to see if there's anything that might fix it.

It actually fixed itself, I think it was a routing issue or something dumb.
I did manage to wipe out my save games in the process of trying to fix it though, so I get to start again...

This is just getting better and better for me.
The Michael drug induced flight scene was absolutely brilliant. Superb choice of music and voice over clips.

He was talking about the Yoga mission, not Michael's Grass roots mission [you were referring to]. Whilst those aliens do appear in both you don't get to use a minigun in the former.
