So happy! I've been looking forward to this announcement since rumors of Fantasy TW first hit the mill. The TW system and WHF are just perfect fits for each other.
Also, damn are the FB comments on the announcement salty. "The game is ruined","it's all over", etc etc. It's just sad.
First game I'm excited for in a long time! No matter what, I'll enjoy it because it's Warhammer. The universe feels so fresh and inviting when somebody puts some work into bringing it to life. Why GW don't do something, anything, like that trailer for their own releases is beyond me. I instantly want a WFB army now.
Here's hoping that a legion of new fans don't want to get into WFB after this releases and find it relaunched and unrecognisable.

I'm guessing the elves will all be making an appearance in a later "standalone expansion" ala Dawn of War introducing new factions with each standalone.

As much as I loved every second of the trailer simply because ITS OFFICIAL NOW!!11, I do think that the actual trailer itself was kinda...underwhelming. I think Warhammer Online Age of Reckoning made better trailers. See:

Been expecting this for a while now, but seeing as i don't play or follow WHFB wasn't really looking forward to it much.
Never have i been so wrong. This looks sick! I hope the game is as good as the trailer and it could well be worth the get! So much awesome potential and from a great company with LOTS of prestige on the line. Let's hope it won't be a flounce, though tbh i don't think it will be...

This is the best video game partnership that I've seen GW make to date. Every other announcement I've always thought "Really? You're going with that company?" but I think Total War is going to be a fantastic match with Warhammer.
