I'm about to play my first game with the codex against DE. I usually play at 2000 pts, but my DE friend wants to play at 2500, probably so that he can use his recently painted units.
I got disconnected from 40k just a few weeks before the DE release but I heard it wasn't a powerful one, so I'm guessing Chaos has a good chance to win here. Anyway, I used my 2000 pts base list and just added the 500 pts that went on an extra termicide, some bikes, a soul grinder and combi-weapons on the rhinos. These last (combi-weapons) I'm not so sure of but can't see where to spend another 15 points.
Wish I had more special bike weapons to add meltas but I only possess 2 models with plasmas so... here is what my list looks like for the match:

I'm getting combi-flamers cause I remember there was some heavy usage of the DE bikes, on the past codex, the flamers on the soulgrinder and rhinos should be able to take care of them on the first turns. I'm not so sure about the combi-meltas on the termies thou, probably plasmas would be better as the only thing I'm sure that my opponent will bring to the table are grotesques
