Hello
I am musing on expanding my CSM army, and thinking about this:
Chaos lord of Khorne, on Juggernaut (Cavalry, T+1, W+1, A+1), with Axe of blind fury (S+2, Ap2, Ws-1, A+d6), pistol, Sigil of corruption (4++)
with escort of 5 Chaos spawns.
This lord costs 175 (+160 for escorting spawns) and delivers on average 10-11 attacks at Ws5 S6 Ap2 on charge.
Did anyone try this already? does it work?

Yes, He is a beast in CC. Alot of players use that(khorne players). The amount of damage he can put out is just insane , So let him loose and go Crazy.

For giggles, I like to add the Gift of mutation, But thats just me liking random tables.

I use him with bikes, but oh yes lol. He as pretty much killed entire units on his own on the charge. He can even duke it out with the likes of tyranid tyrants if need be. So far he's almost always made his points back. And when he didn't, it was due to becoming a spawn. Plus the model will look awesome once you convert something. Can't wait to see what mine looks like once painted.

I'm always scared of rolling on that boon table lol. That spawnhood isn't NEARLY as rare as you'd think it is XD. Nor is the prince ascension for that matter, but that still happens rarely in comparison to spawn hood lol, although it has saved my ass once.
For some reason everytime I take a Black Legion sorcerer with the yuranthos spell, I am virtually guaranteed to turn spawn. Although that always happens in a hilarious way. Not even remotely as good as the jugger lord, but often very funny

To be fair, it isn't like the Gift is a bad buy. It's random, but a boost is a boost.

Especially when you roll up 2+ armor or Eternal Warrior.

Don't be scared of the boon table, be scared of the daemon weapon roll on the AOBF. The amount of times my Juggerlord has lost his final wound due to that table defies all probability...

But yes, until that moment he is devastating. My regular opponent is (largely) Blood Angels, and I will often take out his entire unit of Terminators, or Sanguinary Guard, in a single turn of combat.

AOBF on a Daemon Prince is also fun.

Absolutely. Even though the finecast model is expensive at €39, there's nothing cooler than a Khorne Juggerlord leading your army as bloodthirsty warlord into fierce melee (I assume the rest of your army is also built more towards melee than ranged combat - a Juggerlord by himself will die quickly, even with a Spawn screen).

Something I can suggest is using Bikers instead of Spawn as a screen - they're also pretty tough with T5 and 3+ / 4++ jink and you can give them combi-meltas and the sarge a meltabomb as well as the icon of wrath to not only allow you to re-roll your charge range in case you fail it, but also make everyone S+1 on the charge (including ALL the attacks of the Juggerlord S7)

Just an fyi, that is a metal model, not finecast. I have one for my fantasy warriors of chaos. The model is amazing.

I have one exactly like that in finecast.
It costs almost the same as three skullcrushers lf khorne, so if you are planning on a conversion, i would go for those.

My favourite model!

I now have 3. :-) it was metal, now finecast (much easier to convert.)

My first finecast one had a miscast bit, so I sent the bit back and got a whole replacement jugger
