Well, the Taurox would have a use if it where:

-Cheaper

-Fast

-Had more armour

-Had cheaper upgrades

-Actually looked decent

-Could actually survive an MEQ squad getting on its flank within rapid fire range

-Could survive a HB squad to the front

If it does become viable I will be using these beauties to represent them as well as my Chimeras.

Eh IF you want just EVERYTHING for cheaper then why are we not getting fast land raiders for under 50 points already.

Its fine that its a low armor transport but there is no point to it as everything else already covers that job.

if it was fast then it would make infinity more sense as to why its lower armor value with less guns.

I was really surprised at the Taurox, when one of the constant wishlist items for IG has been a jeep/universal carrier equivilent. An open topped dirt cheap transport that carries 6 models, making it ideal for command squads, special weapons squads, etc.

The Death Korps have something vaguely like it, but the Taurox is really an unnecessary model.

100 points gives you a transport that can move 12" re-roll failed terrain tests, shoot smoke for a one-use 5+ cover save, carry cargo, and fire 2 main weapons at BS4 instead of BS3, which are:

2 S8 shots and 2 tl-S7 shots.

now compare that to the 90 point devilfish

bretty gud

If we're comparing them to other armies' vehicles, how does it stack up against a 110 point Wave Serpent?

Thats the point though, it is essentially a Razorback minus a point od BS and a point of side armour and much, much more expensive. I dont want it to be stupidly under priced. I dont want it to have over the top buffs. I just want it to be a viable choice in my army as at the moment it is just not worth the points cost.
