There were 547 votes last time, so we're quite a bit short this time round. Funny really, because the models are at such a high standard this month as they have been every month. Strange that we've not attracted as much traffic.

Did it get onto the front page last time, perhaps?

Maybe it is just as simple as that. It's no problem at all, 388 votes is nothing to be sniffed at. That's a lot of kind people taking the time to judge the entries! I just found it interesting.

Right, time's up! Getting straight to it, the winners of June's Painting Challenge, Some Kind Of Monster!

In third place, and clear of the rest of the field by quite some margin,

SlavetoDorkness with a large scale Stone Troll

The last thing lunch sees...

the last place lunch is...plus snacks for later!

The last of lunch...

Crude surgery after lunch didn't cooperate...

In second place, and fast becoming a familiar face at the top here,
SJM with an Ork Meganob

And out ahead in first, taking his second win in just 4 months,
Januine's Crimson Slaughter Chosen

Once again, thanks and congratulations to everyone who took part this month, it's evident the the quality of entries is building time after time, and the OP of this thread is testament to that awesomeness!

Why not head over to this month's challenge, full of all things stealthy, sneaky and subtle?

Yeah, thanks for the votes folks! It's appreciated when up against some jaw droppingly good artists.

Loved seeing everyone's entries, and glad to see a stone troll placing.

Eggs, I still love your trolls too though. The blue scheme works really well.

Just a quick comment re the league. I copied the table not long after Para posted the results. I think there has been a vote or two extra, but they won't be included due to the end point of the challenge being before they were cast.
