The game shift has made it into the Guardian news (perhaps fed by the GW publicity machine?)

I'd be surprised if GW had any publicity machine powerful enough to fed the Guardian.
AoS has made a splash though, and these games aren't quite so niche as they once were...

The Guardian are super-good with keeping up with geek news and presenting it in a way that's accessible for non-geeks. Their videogame articles can be some of the best around.

You can tell by the way the author keeps accidentally assuming knowledge of 40k things.

Eh compared to the usual ridiculously biased crap we see posted on BoLS it's pretty good.

Though he probably should have used a picture of AoS being played instead of 40k.

Big credit for remembering new players have to buy modelling tools, brushes, paints, etc. So many people forget about those costs.
