Hah, don't apologize, it's a kind of yellow/tan green, at least as far as my eyes tell me. It's sort of a chartreuse which is yellow green or green yellow

Classic old school wraithlord. I had given up on him years ago, as he was a royal pain to assemble. Since then my greenstuffing skills have improved, so the joins are a little better. If he falls apart again, I’m breaking out the power tools and other extreme measures. But for now he’s standing tall, risen from the depths of my hobby supplies, and ready to fight for the rest of his doomed race.

Nice simple scheme. Llke the colors and decal.

Got half the robot primed, only to remember I need to GS up some basework for the waves to sit on.

So mistakes were made but, fixable ones. I started spraying yesterday, had to stop due to high humidity. It didn't bubble or flake though, so I am glad. It's like 74% humidity today.

uggggh. So I have to go back and make some waves for the base, and also spray some Techmarine booty with primer (or paint a coat on there). Really loving the side-effects of this magnet. It allows me to mount it to a spray stick and have a nice halved scheme. I have a question though guys. My primer is chaos black. Can I do a coat of that from a paintpot due to the humidity/rain preventing spraying on the spots that was bad/not primed, and then do a second coat of chaos black, the first acting as a primer coat on the bare spots?

It'll have the frame at the very least but I'm waiting on my father to mail me a hole-punched piece of wood for heat forming the glass.
He's going camping with some beardy musicians and I may have missed my shot.

I feel your pain there, BC. Grandfather Nurgle blessed me over the past few days with a non-serious but very annoying cold. Did not put me in the mood for painting at all. However, that is over, and I have more Screaming Bell paint, so no more excuses for me!

Well, ain't it funny, a week after I arrive from Ireland my family decides we're going to Andorra, I'll try and find some WIP pics to enter but this month has been quite an adventure.

I really like the cherry red of the armor plates. I'm not as wild about the scarlet red around the spikes in the shoulder pad, but that's just a personal preference, I think it's sharply painted.

It does look a bit scarlet in the pictures. Its just the way the shading worked out.

Thank you both kindly It's my first time painting something bigger than a land raider. I just hope monthly practice will help me get to be as good as everyone else here!

That's your first time on a big project? The paint looks very well applied on the large areas.

that's the two lads pretty much done. Just the weathering the castellax left to do and as I just noticed the Dom's flasks. Next onto the bases and hopefully get a wee dio built too.

Please mount that tech-whatsit guy on a flying stand. He looks too cool wafting in the breeze that way

Well, sadly, my Aquila will have a canopy dome but it can't have glass.

We'll just have to imagine it's there. Okay? It'll arrive a day after the contest ends.

Looks kind of like a grim techno reaper. Just sayin. When that old toaster finally gives up the ghost, it is he who leads the wayward spirit to it's final rest with the omnisiah (or something).

Cheers - I think that's a combination of low resolution and the Mr Hobby metallic red

Got him primed inside today, set up a fan. Got tired of the fumes/hand mess, got a mask and gloves too.





Not the greatest I know but, a couple painted layers of white and a lightbox will hopefully help when this is done. First time with a halved scheme, the magnet made it less challenging though.
