What's the theme for next month? Think I missed it while catching up with the thread.

The new theme chosen, with 38% of the vote, is: 'Never tell me the odds!':- 6s to Hit, 6s to wound, but you know he can do it! Your entry should feature a model facing some kind of adversity, and standing defiant against it. This could cover anything from a single model in the right context to a full-blown diorama piece.

@ Zoat - thank you verymuch. This was one I really really loved doing. The wife was laughing away at me as I painted with a giant gak-eating grin plastered across my face! Starting to try out chipping and weathering a bit.

@ sock - loving those servo skulls. Your lens work is awesome sauce.

@ TP - bloody love it. that dio has come out cracking like. Worth the sleepless nights eh?! YOu can really taste the desperation and the frantic moment shown.

Some totally brilliant entries this month. Well done everyone. Strength to strength it goes (wow that was cheesy lol )

Here's how far I got. The pod is dropped out of modesty, there's still a large spatter of me on it, and I thought that was a bit grim to show in a light hearted painting topic.

It'll be finished by Friday come what may, as I have to use it in a tournament at GW HQ. They will just take my cash and laugh otherwise.

I'm not happy with the metallics, they need matting down, but I can't use my airbrush left handed, that is actually beyond me.

See my high tech screening of using an old blazer on a shoebox.

Right, that's submissions closed now! Voting coming soon!

@Stormwall: even if you didn't make it in time, I hope the challenge has been an inspiration to paint! That's what it's all about, so if you put paint on a mini you otherwise wouldn't have, you're a winner!

@TP: love it, good to see Bob finished at last! Cool Crons too!

Thanks man, was a great feeling to have him finished. Think I may use some weathering paints on him soon, but ran out of time for the contest. Best of luck in uni - what are you studying?
