Hi all,

I am new to infinity and want to start playing Military Orders (Pan-O). I was trying to create a mostly all knights list. Anyhow, this is my proposed list and I would appreciate any feedback any veteran players have to offer:

Joan of Arc - Lt. - MULTI Rifle, Nanopulser | Pistol, DA CCW
Father Knight Hacker - Combi Rifle, D-Charges | Breaker Pistol, DA CCW
Teutonic Knight - Spitfire | Pistol, AP CCW
Spec. Sergeant Hacker - Combi Rifle | Pistol, Knife
Knight Hospitaller Doctor - MULTI Rifle | Pistol, AP CCW
Magister Knight - Panzerfaust, Light Shotgun | Pistol, AP CCW
Magister Knight - Panzerfaust, Light Shotgun | Pistol, AP CCW
Magister Knight - Panzerfaust, Light Shotgun | Pistol, AP CCW
Magister Knight - Missile Launcher | Pistol, DA CCW

Total Points: 300
Orders: 9
SWC: 4 (+1)
ITS Legal

Link team of 4 Magister Knights. Spec. Sergeant for Fairy Dust. Father Knight to assault/hack enemy units. Doctor for healing and Teutonic for weak flank.

I realize the lists weakness is a slightly low model count, frenzy, and monofilament.

Thoughts?

Get a fifth Magister. That +3 BS is really nice. The list I ran last night looked like this one except instead of the Order Sergeant and Teutonic I had the fifth Magister, a Fusilier Hacker, and a Fusilier Forward Observer.

I am a poor experienced player, but i also play MO and i agree with Adurot about taking the fifth Magister.
Because of their mediocre 12 ballistic skill, +3 BS is very nice, especially in addition to the +1 burst that can really help with the slow rate of fire of their weapons.

It also help to keeping alive your Fireteam and keep in mind that they heavily suffer the fire from circular and tear template.

Anyway, consider that in some cases you may need a more ranged firepower to support you Magisters, so, adding an HMG instead of a Spitfire can be a good idea.

Good Luck

I dont think you can take the Spec Sergeant in the Military orders sectorial if thats what this is

H.B.M.C.- The end hath come! From now on armies will only consist of Astorath, Land Speeder Storms and Soul Grinders!
War Kitten- Vanden, you just taunted the Dank Lord Ezra. Prepare for seven years of fighting reality...
koooaei- Emperor: I envy your nipplehorns. <Magnus goes red. Permanently>
Neronoxx- If our Dreadnought doesn't have sick scuplted abs, we riot.
Frazzled- I don't generally call anyone by a term other than "sir" "maam" "youn g lady" "young man" or " HEY bag!"
Ruin- It's official, we've ran out of things to talk about on Dakka. Close the site. We're done.
mrhappyface- "They're more what you'd call guidlines than actual rules" - Captain Roboute Barbosa
Steve steveson- To be clear, I'd sell you all out for a bottle of scotch and a mid priced hooker.

It's not immediately obvious from the list of Military Orders units, but a Spec Sergeant is listed under Order Sergeant - which is a unit that is legal for Military Orders to take.

If you are running the sectorial, theres a little number by the Order Sergeant in the list. I believe it says he cant be a Spec Sergeant if you are using the sectorial

The Specialist Sergeant with sniper rifle would be an odd inclusion in the Military Orders starter set if that was the case.

“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.”

The Machinist will be preeeetty valuable if someone hits your HIs with E/M ammunition and the fire team comprising Joan + four Hospitallers will keep your opponent focused on the wrong ones

Not only Can you take Spec Sergeants in Military Orders, but having unlimited AVA on them is probably one of the best perks Of the Sectorial. Love those Infiltrating TO Specialists.
